Damn, Slickster your going to really appreciate this story, I should have known better from your posting!!

There's a woman that I've known for a while now that I've always been really attracted to but one of us has always been dating someone since we've known eachother. There's always been a big time mutual attraction, flirting, etc.

Anyway, for the first time we're both single now so I asked her out last week. We went for dinner, drinks, blah blah. Anyway, I thought to myself that I know her fairly well, the attraction has always been there and I really like her so I decided I didn't need to DJ her, I did the "just be yourself" thing. Way too much afcness going on, didn't work out too well. After a goodnight kiss I waited a day to call, got the voicemail. Called today, the "I'm busy I'll call you back". Crap, I should have learned from my own past experiences!!

It seems I do so much better when I don't give a $hit, dammit, I had three different women call me during the weekend that I have been seeing off and on, they chase and chase since I really don't care one way or another. Sometimes I really get tired of these games but the more I experience, the more I learn that there is no other way with women. My hearts not broken or anything, I'm just a little disappointed with the outcome, I thought there was some real potential. Just goes to show, you always have to be on top of your game.

work on the other three you have and your boof will fade pretty quickly. if you want to "recover" from this one, just make yourself scarce.

The only way to raise her interest level is to make yourself
scarce, as someone else mentioned.

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL HER.

Go out with other women, it will boost you subconciously.

Then and only then, you may want to 'bump' into her
somewhere by accident and let her know just how
great everything is (and all the chicks you have
going on.)

Keep a 'gotta go - bye' slick attitude on, and don't
fall into the trap of being AFC.

I must admit I was smiling as I read your post. Not laughing at you. Just the silliness of this game we all seem forced play.

I have a date coming up with a real "nice" girl. Even after my last episode "trying to be myself" I was wondering if I should skip the games and try it again.

After reading this I think I'll stick to the game plan.

lol, I thought you'd like that one! Seriously dude, stick to the game plan at ALL times, I've done this more than once, it never works.

If I wouldn't have cared so much I would have been in top form, that's what's so damn annoying.

I haven't tried calling since Monday, she emailed me today saying that she's been too busy to call, blah blah, I didn't respond, I don't buy the too busy crap and I'm too old to jump through anyones hoops anymore, if she was interested she would have made some effort. I'm still kind of disappointed, but I'm not going to get oneitis either, time to move on.
