Ok i've been dating my GF for about 2 months. My GF told me though there a guy in her classes who has been telling her "ohhh.. you deserve better" then leaned in to her and said "oh I love you and I was going to tell that to my girlfriend but, I wanted to tell you". I then told my GF I was going to talk to him but she insisted not to. So how do i counter the BF destroying he is trying to do despite him having a girlfriend too also his girlfriend cheats on him a lot. I'm not sure if physically confronting him would seem insecure to my GF though so any advice would help?

Think of it this way. Your the wolf. He's the little puppy nipping at your heels. Beating up the puppy will make all the girl wolves think your a jerk. The true alpha wolf would just be chill and ignore the guy. Sweet metaphor aside, your girl might be testing to see how jealous you are. You should of acted uninterested when she brought it up. Laughed when she tells you what he said as if its the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard. And then moved the conversation to something else. After doing this it would be a good idea to show her some loving affection since she might be a little upset and concerned that you didnt get jealous.
