Conversation openers for approaching women

Hey everyone. I'm 21 years old and am not good at speaking. I rarely talk a lot unless I am with friends. You probably get what i mean. I dont know its like when I am with my guy friend, he always tells me that babe was looking at you and even I know it too. I am also about 5'8 so I am a bit under average height. I look average but I dress a lot better which is probably why I get some looks.

I am looking for good openers i can use to talk to women in different situations and places. Like for instance, what is a good opener to use on a woman in a place like a library, the train station, or even in the streets?

I know things you should never open in the train station, is something like how long is your commute because those things are boring and you never want to do something like that. I also heard you should never just go up and say I am so and so because she would ask you for your name if she was interested in the conversation or not.

Oh and by the way, i would never approach anyone that doesn't show me any positive signals. I don't know but the last 2-3 years I noticed I been getting looks from some women but most of the time I dont even know how to get it going. I mean it would have just been hey your cute, i am XXX, whats your name? But I dont have a followup if you know what i mean.

I am definitely trying to turn everything around. Can you suggests suggest some things for me to say in those three places such as the street, library, cafe and train station.

HEHE, I dont know if you should take my advice since I'm barely beginning but Ill take a quack at it (if you know the movie that's from your awesome lol) I usually change it up most of the time, I dont like using old canned lines since there is running the possibility that she already heard that which would totally destroy anything you were trying to achieve! This past week I used something for the holidays since it's almost here I used "Hey I got stuck on dessert duty this Turkeyday and was wondering what was easier to make, Cherry pie or Apple?" Number one she probably never heard this being asked of her which is good and two it makes her think (one girl actually got it right though, it takes about the same time which caught me off guard for a sec) then after that I would ask what they did for Halloween, dress up as, any good candy spots for next year and go on from there. But it's all up to you, there are alot of good things to read here like this

anyways, this is how one of my approaches went...

This latina (a 7/10) was standing in front of me looking at the opposite direction (she was waiting for a ride). She kept looking back at me (3 times), I was sitting on a bench, she glanced at me again and then she sat right next to me. She looked at me again, I decided to have a short chat with her... basically my opener was me saying "A yo, sup?" We had a conversation till her dad picked her up (I found out that we went to the same school, we talked about our classes, drivers ed, etc.)....yeah, I know it was a crappy opener lol

well, MY opener that i'm using is pretty effective right now... I try all sorts of stuff... thats what its all about... actually, its not about your opener, its about your voice, eye contact, body language... You could basically just start barking at her if you want.


anyhow, right now I've been using "I like popcorn!"

seriously, its been opening girls like a soda pop can.

they are always like "Thats so random...!"

and then i usually start leading into a "i like it with salt, butter all that good stuff.. do you like it like that?"

i dont know... it doesnt matter what you say bro, as long as it isnt "nice shoes, wanna ****?"

...even "Hi!" is a great opener.

Lately I've just been going situational or "Do you know where <X> is? .. O I''m just kiding, I really just wanted to meet you" which I got from PU101. For X I use something really funny for me to be asking her directions for.

This is for day game... I try not to think too much about the opener really because everytime I do I end up missing the approach by a split second.
