We as men think "why would she give you her number and then tell you not to call?". Sure that seems logical. But we're talking about a woman here.
personally whenever someone gets my number i tell them that i prefer texts to calls(because i kind of dislike phone calls)

i sure as hell wouldn't respond like that though

Two days after getting her number, I decided to call her after work thinking she would also have my number. I called her at 9:05 pm, I wanted to ask her out, so decided to initiate with a casual greet. The conversation went like this:

Me: Hello is this Archie?

Archie: ummmm, whos this?

Me: This is Kiran from your company…

Archie: (silence)

Me: Did you Have dinner?

Archie: yeah….

Me: So how was your day?

Archie: Why did you call?

Me: Sorry???... I simply called to say Hi…

Archie: Don’t call me

Me: Why is there a problem?

Archie: Don’t call me, I don’t like it.
Me: Oh! You don’t like?!!... whats the matter…

Archie: yeah.. I m cutting off

Me: Ok...

No, you don't know what was said. You have very little idea of what happened at all.

Nice white knighting.
Neither do you, but based on what we do know from the OP...

Also what you quoted is the opposite of white knighting, I'm confused

Edit: Just saw the phone conversation. B*tch confirmed.

Its the original conversation. She was expecting me to talk but I have completely ignored her since that day.
never speak to her again, she's too much of a ***** to deserve any of your time or attention. however she isn't enough of a ***** to try and spite her so stay away from her friends/family, no matter how hot they are(i mean this in a, don't try to bang her BFF to spite her kinda way).

true. its better I avoid them at any cost. No point in going for her, she'll worsen my life anyways! its better to love people who care for us :)

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Accept the fact you don't like (get attracted to) all girls/women in this world. Accept the fact every girl/woman does not like (get attracted to) you and you fall into that category of men she is not attracted to. No need to hate her, form grudge against her, and avoid her. She is your co-worker; you may have to work in coordination with her, sometimes, and you don't want to get fired for avoiding her. As one of the posters said earlier, treat her like any other person. You tried and it did not work out. Now, find someone else who also likes you. Don't ever try to manufacture a woman's interest. Don't ever ask the reason why she is not interested. It's your fault, OP.

OK.

Archie: Don’t call me

Me: Why is there a problem?
I cringe.

Archie: Don’t call me, I don’t like it.

Me: Oh! You don’t like?!!... whats the matter…
I cringe harder.
