Well she texted me Saturday. Said she apologies for how she hung up on me but how her and I didn't end things on good terms and she was upset. She asked how I was. I told her I was fine and I was just saying whats up as we are supposed to be "cool" and that I haven't spoken to her in awhile. Thats about it. I dont think she is interested or anything and I am sure she is in a good place with her fiance. I think she just realized it was rude and a weird reaction and that her conscience got to her. I reiiteriate that the reaction seemed so misplaced...like someone that still has emotion.

She obviously still has some level of feelings for you or she wouldn't contact you back.
But stop being an arsehole and being the kind of sh!t guy who fooks emotionally up another guy's girl over and tempting her. For God's sake, she's engaged. Be respectful - would you want your engaged girl to be emotionally fooked up by an ex' from the past?

I appreciate people's advice. I think some view points were valid. Yet some were way off base. But hey..everyone's approach to things are different.
BTW I do have a girlfriend that I have been dating for a year and a half. She treats me real good. Cooks...cleans..and doesn't give me any problems with respect to loyalty. Admittedly she isn't as smoking as the girl in question who turned heads wherever she went but she is cute...and a good fit for me.
But I can see how me contacting an ex could make people think I have no one. I guess one can't be curious about an ex.

We talked on the phone and it was a good convo. Laughing etc. The guy she engaged to hasn't gotten her a ring yet...nor have they set a date. Plus she said she wants to be sure she was doing the right thing. But anyway. I was a bit hesitant to tell her about my girlfriend and she was like that's my problem...I don't like to put my girl on a pedestal. I was like why should I that ain't me. That's all I have...I think she hung up like that because she still had some emotion concerning everything and may have thought I did her wrong someway. Maybe she wants a guy troll her she pretty 50 times a day...who knows.
Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I've been thinking a lot about my ex this last week. I hate myself for it, coz it's been five fvckin months since I nexted her ass! But I've been feeling kinda cold and lonely these last days, so thoughts of her pop up in my head, I play back the wonderful moments we shared and it makes me long back for her HARD. To top it off, last night, I dreamt about her and me getting back together. Then I woke up feeling depressed...
So yeah, today I feel a big urge to somehow re-initiate contact, a little text, a little facebook message, whatever... I'M NOT GONNA DO IT, THOUGH! The urge itself is nothing to be ashamed of and the emotions I'm experiencing do not neccesarily make me weak. But ACTING on them WOULD, and is totally unacceptable.
