i came back from the bars a while ago, just got this number from this fine azz chick. Now, I went up to her (kinda drunk) but super confident, just walked up to her like I owned the place, but was real cool with her. there was like 3 guys standing around her (all bigger than me), and I was like "whats going on fellas" and just kept macking her (lololol) anyway, I was so confident I just kept talking to her and shooting the sh1t with her, that I never really asked for her number, but after like maybe 10 or 15 minutes of talking, out of the blue she read off her number to me. So I was thinking cool, and I pulled out my phone and took it in. I kinda gave her a hug, then patted the guys around her on the back and immediately walked out (rofl) with my guy (who stared laughing like wow). my question is number one do you think she was really interested, and number two, if she was, did I seem too much like a player?

in hindsight, I might have done things a little differently. I mean, as soon as she gave me her number, I was like "babe, I forgot your name" and she gave it to me, then I put it in my phone and left the damn bar (lol) with my guy. do you guys think that was the wrong thing to do? or did I habdle this okay?

Just call her next Wednesday see if she wants to go out. Say "what time you eating dinner" she'll say "oh...6 oclock, 6:30..." then say "ok so you should be done by 8:30? I'll come by pick you up we'll go get a drink"

let the alcohol hit her and try to get her in between the sheets that night when you drive her home.

btw - I forgot to mention. The reason we talked for so long was because I kinda knew her from work. Never really talked, just exchanged smiles a few times, but I quit a few months ago and just saw her at the bar last night

Maybe she was interested because you seemed like a player. How about that?

Actually, she either wanted to make the guys around her jealous, or she was interested in going out with you, or in getting rid of you, but without knowing everything that went on exactly as it happened, it's difficult to say, right?

So in calling her, you'll find out.

But I wouldn't do the "you should be done by 8:30, I'll see ya then" routine because if she has plans she'll turn you down and you won't know if it's because she really has plans or isn't interested and there you'll be posting again asking what her IL is.

Instead, call her 6 days in advance of when you'd prefer to see her. It's less likely that she has set plans 6 days ahead of time. THEN if she turns you down you can wonder if that's a flag.

That's if she picks up the phone in the first place.

update - called her last night, it was her number. only problem is I got really drunk and apparently called her at almost 1 o clock in the morning (lol). asked her if she was gonna be around next weekend she said yeah, but I don't really remember how the rest of the conversation went.

hopefully I didn't do too much damage. she knows now that I'm interested in doing something next weekend so I'll probly call her then and see whats going on.
