It's interesting because the changes I made in myself were not to adopt the behaviors of others who I viewed as successful (which I saw as awkward and too fake to pull off), it was more of not fearing what people would think about the real me and to express my opinions without apology because if they didn't like it I wasn't going to change for them, and it's worked surprisingly well.
I needed to be ok with who I am and not try to change in order to please, I gained more respect and of course p-ssy followed. Although I did become more proactive with women because it's required, they simply don't initiate unless you make the first, or many moves.
I've had 2 friends who completely changed the way they act (became more "thuggish") and I couldn't hang out with them anymore because I couldn't take them seriously, because I knew them prior and it looked forced and stupid. However, it probably did achieve what they wanted because women tend to flock to that kind of attitude more than others (in certain areas), so it's understandable.
