I'm from maryland originally so I route for the terps from time to time. Same with UNLV cause I live in Vegas. Ultimately though I like Tennesee. I've been a big Vols fan for years now even though they typically let down during the season or in the post. This year being no exception after saturday's shalacking they recived via Arkansas. Oh well there's always next year and my girlfriends team (Auburn) is out of it too so I don't have to hear anything from her from now on...I guess there's a bright side to everything:p

Fear the Turtle!

nah man, Arkansas beat Tennessee but Tennessee...come on now. No ainge, no inky johnson, no justin harrell. Plus Arkansas was playing at home and using a bunch of trick plays that I'm sure tennessee had not game planned for. Take away the trick plays and homefield advantage, and its a close game. Give tennessee those players back, and they win. Thats loss isn't anything to be ashamed of.

Well All I can say is.....GO BLUE! (Wolverines) And yep we gotta biggie comin up on saturday against Ohio St. (I hate them with a passion) BUT I will give Ohio St. some credit. Troy Smith / Antonio Pittman / Ted Ginn what more could you ask for? Then again Michigan has Dominating Defense / Mike Hart / somewhat decent offense. My only worries are If Chad Henne can keep a clear mind going into this game. Ohio St. Without a doubt is going to have the advantage because thery're ranked number 1 and playing at home not to mention they won 4 out of the last 5 meetings. By the way...did anybody hear what Kirk Herbstreit said about Steve Breaston? He called him "worthless"
Emotions will be running high for this game but I'm predicting my Wolverines for an upset. As for the BCS rankings -- Rutgers SHOULD NOT play for national title ---- Michigan and OSU SHOULD NOT HAVE a re-match in the title game. The problem with the BCS rankings is that most of the games aren't nationally broadcast. For example, Being from michigan we never see USC or any other of the west teams play. How can you just say Rutgers should be playing for a national title without even seeing other games across the nation? Sombody recently told me that the BCS ranking should be trnasformed into a playoff system. But IMO that would be too complicated.

Teams to look for

1. Florida - And no ValleyDJing im no gator fan but if they do finish the rest of their schedule with wins and win SEC title game they could be looking at another national title run

2. USC - With the upset lost against Oregon St. Pete Carroll said his team wasn't out of it. And he's right.

3. Arkansas - After losing to USC Arkansas has been on a stealthly climb to the top. (better watch out Gators)

Can you say REMATCH folks? Yup the BCS rankings are up and as I stated earlier, the other teams have been effectively frozen out because they didn't have enough points in the BCS computer average. Sorry USC, despite having more points in not one but two major polls, the computer power ranking (which has a high weighted average in the system) has you lagging Michigan in 5 of 6 conciderations. meaning you're behind them by .08 in the overall average, making you number 3. If the woliverines win out, (and that's very likely to happen cause they spanked just about everyone else) then its an OSU vs Mich Rematch in the national championship.

Feel free to rant and rave here but again that's just how the BCS works. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch cause I think a few more good plays out of Michigan and maybe a few more calls going there way, might have won them the game.

I'm just happy Tennessee won this week over lowly vandy :cheer:
And my girlfriend was happy Auburn won over rival Alabama :cheer:
So all was right with the world for us for a few hours.

I like the odds for Ohio State in the NC

I'll go with harmon and say Ohio State 29 Florida 17. The line is Ohio State -8 with the over under at 47.5 so that score sits well in my mind.

I'm very much looking forward to the Rose Bowl. Michigan vs USC is gonna be a killer. Both teams have been scorned slightly but Michigan didn't shoot itself in the foot so I'm taking them over USC 37-24

For some reason I can't shake the feeling that Arkansas will beat Wisconson in which I think is the most exciting game of the season. 30-27

I think LSU will run all over Notre Dame. 40-14

I like Oklahoma putting a loss on Boise State. 21-17

My Upset Pick will be Wake Forest stunning Louiville 28-21

My girlfriends team:D Auburn will Beat Nebraska 32-10

My team Tennesse will beat Penn State 27-21

Dude, no offense, but maybe you should stop making picks. Although you got LSU/ND pretty close.

Boise State!

Talk about brinksmanship and stunning execution. They certainly deserved a shot at the title, like Utah 2 years ago and Miami of Ohio 3 years ago (who had that Ben Roethlisberger guy at QB), both of whom slaughtered their overmatched non-BCS bowl opponents.

I gotta pick OSU over Florida, but you never know how the teams will match up. People thought Michigan's pass rush would be all over USC, but it turned out the other way around. But Michigan never does well against a Cali team down there, so the only thing surprising about the Rose Bowl was how lopsided it was. No "phantom touchdown" needed this time. But I do think USC may really be the best team, bummer for them they came out flat against inspired teams a couple times.

Yeah thank god I didn't wager on any of those games. Not like I was going to anyway since the spreads were all pretty small. The only one I'm really suprised about is Tenn losing to Penn State and Auburn not winning bigger over The huskers. My girl called me when both teams were tied and I was like yeah we're both going to win but not big. Then my team fumbles on the way to a loss and her team feild goals to a short win.

My boss told me the teams to bet on straight up but those games were back in december and weren't "high profile". Still I gave him my tips money everytime he told me to and I near doubled or better every time. The only sports I can bet on are Hockey and Base ball because the spreads are so small. A little NHL or MLB tonight and that's usually all it takes.

One more left. I'm still going with the Harmon forcast and OSU. Harmon is 21-9 in predicting bowl games and a staggering 223-46 in the regular season. I'm thinking they know a little bit about what they're talking about.

Wow. That's all I can say. A 41-14 florida blow out leaves me with hands down with the foot in mouth award for college football picks for 06-07 for sure. There are no competetitors or front runners. I stand alone.

I hope I get my act together for next season. I'm suppose to start making foot ball bets again next year. Right now that's a scary thought.

Nah bro...you can still work for ESPN. haha! Thats about what they were all thinking. I swear, nobody that wasn't a Gator fan thought OSU would lose, let alone get their asses kicked. Anyways, I gotta go celebrate. later.
