I know this is probably obvious and you dont need me preaching but heres my story.

I started doing it my sophomore year. I had been drinking and smoking weed since 8th grade and i was starting to hang out around a crowd of kids that were a year older than me and i basically did it because they were doing it. The ****ty thing about coke is that it takes a while to get addicted to it... which ****s with your head. When youve been doing it every couple weeks for 3 months and you dont feel any more addicted to it than you do to weed... its easy for it to get out of hand.

long story short i got into a good college but only because I'm a good football player. I lost most of my real friends and had to earn them back. And I'm spending my last summer vacation as a high schooler in rehab.

you cant control it forever. im just lucky I didnt move on to the really nasty ****.

Drugs like that is only something I do a few times in a year maybe.

I've seen too many people and friends loose their life over harder drugs like that. Which, is why I know to only do it on a "special occasion." Or I've seen people smoke crack cocaine for their first time and the next thing you know... their full blown addicts after it.

The only drug worth doing is marijuana. Everything else is poison...

For those of you who are committed to never trying coke but wonder what you are missing, let me tell you that there are some people who really *don't* like it. I have tried it a handful of times when I was much younger, and each time I was left wondering why I had just paid twenty bucks for a sore throat and no buzz. So, if it helps, there is a chance that you are not missing anything fun. Coke and meth are both retarded drugs either way.

My future superiors in the BMA/GMC would skin me alive for saying this, but weed, LSD and MDMA (Ecstasy) are substantially safer and less addictive than tobacco and alcohol. The hypocrisy of developed nations amuses me. The biggest earners for drug cartels are E and cannabis. Legalise them and make tax revenue, whilst crushing organised crime. Who cares if the country becomes a 'drugs capital'. It's all media hype.

As for coke and anything of the like - purity has dropped by 50% in a decade. I'll never go anywhere near that stuff.

yeah fertileturtle made the point its really expensive, i had to sell weed to buy coke. its just an all around ****ty drug. seriously i would tell you to do anything before you did cocaine except for heroine, meth, and crack (which is basically super-addictive coke that you smoke if anyone doesnt know)

Impossible. Smoking weed does not cause people to start going crazy. Your friend probably had something else wrong with him because there is NO WAY and NO PROOF that marijuana causes people to go to mental hospitals.

Actually, there's evidence to suggest that smoking MJ increases your risk of developing mental disorders. Psychological addiction can, and is, a powerful force to be reckoned with.

MJ is bad for you, it does increase cancer risks, though this is in part to if you roll it up in tobacco paper.

Still, tobacco and nicotine are the greatest evils to human health. Until maybe a decade ago, tax revenues outstripped the cost to treat tobacco-related illness. Now treatment costs twice as much as gathered in taxes (in the UK). 3 guesses why it is only the past decade the government has 'cracked down' on smoking? And why very little is done to stop drinking?

Dude in the US its not the government's problem how much treatment costs, because the government doesn't pay for people's health care. Yet they still ban smoking in public and slap ridiculous taxes on cigarettes. The crackdown has occurred because politicians look like angles in the public eye when they "protect your children from the dangers of smoking" . We are voting away our own freedom.
