so i recently got braces. a few of the coaches at my school said i should use it to my advantages to get the ladies. any truth and if so how?

I don't know how braces could possibly help your game in the short term. However, its a great investment. It may slow some people done for a while because they have wires on their teeth, but once they come off they have much better looking teeth, which is good.

I think they were saying that to make you feel better in all honesty. But, in honesty too, braces won't stop you from getting girls. Your insecurity of having braces will though.

I got all my big teeth very early on therefore got my braces when I was 10 and finished them 2 years later, so I don't know loads about how high school girls think of them. What happened for me though when I had them is that they got me a lot of attention, (maybe because I was the only one with them at the time) and it was good for conversation, i.e if a girl asks to see them you could add some C+F like " sure, I know you can't resist my smile" etc..

They aren't a put off, maybe people don't really care too much and maybe sometimes they can crop up in conversation leading to good opportunities

I can't see them helping you now, but I also had braces when I was younger. So, don't worry if things turn down a little, it'll end up being WELL worth it.

It's normal, many people in high school have braces.
Remember, its not too much about physical appearance, it's how you present yourself.

If you have the frame of mind that the braces are going to ruin your game, it will ruin your game! However, if you have the attitude that "Hey, I'm wearing braces. If you have a problem, than leave", than you will be presenting yourself in a more DJ-like way. (Obviously don't say that line to somebody, but have that frame of mind.)

It's a good investment. You will have amazing teeth for life, that's awesome!
