Co-Worker flirt success

I had posted a thread about my co-worker, and us flirting, etc..

some of you guys had told me that i should leave it alone, and i did for a few days.

well, just yesterday, out of the blue, she comes into my office and starts talking to me. there is this college regulated party on campus next weekend, and guess what?
she asked if she could come with me!

i played the dj skills right, by saying:

"well, i dunno. i will have to think about that one, becasue i dont really know if i want to go to the fall fest with someone"

she looked a lil shocked at that one, and plus we hadnt really talked in like 3 days.

then at lunch, i told her i was going to go out to get some fast food. i asked her she wanted n e thing, and so i got her something.
i was switching up on the polite/nice guy, and the c&f. had her so confused, that by the end of the workday, she stopped me on my way out.

she was like, "hey, i need to know you really want to go to fall fest w/ me"
i replied, coolly, "umm, i'll check my sched, and see if i can book ya in"
i told her that i'd see her tomorrow (today), and she couldnt even say goodbye, she was at a loss of words

so i think i'm pretty much in w/ this co-worker chick, still havent gone 4 the # close, but in this case, dont really have to.

no, this job is actually important.
i'm a co-op contractor for the Air Force Base
i work for a company called Defense Research Associates.
so, ya, it's pretty imp, clearances, and classified s***

this girl goes to the same college i do to, so...
i'll just see how things work out

make no mistake, your career should be your number one priority. always focus on your grip.

with that being said, lifes too short to be brought down by regret and "what-ifs." if you can get away with it, have as much fun with her as you can. that "no co-workers" rule is very situational.
