The best thing you can do is start working out (losing weight or putting on muscle). Then when you buy slim-fit (or whatever) clothes, they will fit you better and you will FEEL BETTER (more confident). You don't have to have a Zegna suit just basic clothes, but as long as it makes you feel more confident you're doing it right.

Yes. We care.
But mainly we care if you can fix yourself up
Can't go wrong with one good pair of well fitting jeans and a button down shirt

Recently I've been going to Target and some other cheaper retailers and buy dress shirts. I'll bring them in to a seamstress and she'll tailor them to my body. $20 shirt with a $150-level fit.

Never go cheap on shoes....

It depends on the girl. Some woman like certain styles. Some aren't too picky. It varies, really.

If I see a girl rocking some jordans and she's a 6 that alone would bump her up by .5 = 6 1/2.

If a chick likes you, digs you, and you dress up nice, good style, that bumps up her attraction level even more. If she's not that interested the effect is not the same.

Cloths is incredibly important.

I often dress really lazy. Ie tracksuit old shirt shoddy shoes when I go to the mall. And I get no women checking me out.

But when it have nice jeans shoes and nice jersey. Get a lot of eyes from women.

Above all else I honestly feel a thousand times better about myself when I dress up.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

To be fair, I don't think it's a deal breaker unless you look like a tramp.

However you dress, 2-3 months into a relationship she'll make it her little project to 'align your wardrobe to her tastes' anyway :)

Fit trumps everything. Make sure everything is not too baggy and you aren't swimming in your clothes. It just makes you look sloppy.

I buy 70% of my clothes from second-hand shops and get complimented on my style all the time. I will pay more for designer jeans but if you think about it, they will last a lifetime.

If you have no sense of style, find someone who does to go shopping with you.

Dress for yourself because it makes you happy.

Yep, gonna agree here. I definitely appreciate a woman who likes looking good and is up on her fashion game. But if a girl is up on her sneaker game too...bonus points for her. I definitely appreciate a chick in a pair of dunks, jordan 1s, or fresh chucks.
