I'm making good gains on my chest, but they're ahead of my lat development. I want more of a "cobra hood". Right now it's kinda reversed, in that my pecs are bigger and wider than my lats - kinda backwards.

I don't have a chin up bar, so would close-grip flat bench or Bent barbell rows be a better for working on my lats?

-thx

bent barbell rows
if you don't normally do them, they are hard to do with correct form
depending on what you're into i'd also say cable rows. rowers have lats like turtles have shells

Close grip bench press don't work the lats. They work shoulders/triceps/chest.

For lats:
-bent over barbell rows
-pendlay rows
-deadlifts
-power cleans
-etc...
