What do you guys do to clear your head?

I know that I'm thinkin bout this girl way too much, I feel I do because I feel that she's the only one in the area that could end up being my gf. Not many girls around my block and the 1s you see are very ghetto looking or ho-ish.

School's not out for my friends yet, so they can't be out late. There's no one to hang out with. No dudes, no ladies.

I just got back from outside. Going outside felt great, but i saw no girls. I sat there going through my phone book to see if there's anyone I could call, ended up calling a friend who was at the yankees game and a cousin. I thought to myself, I shouldn't even have to scramble to find ppl to hang out with...

I have no car, even though I've been promised one. So I can't venture out to wherever the road would take me.

I'm not into video games as much as I used to be. So I no longer really play them to pass the time.

in the end, i need 3 things.

More local friends, a car, and a woman. But I'm trying to clear my head for the moment. Hopefully find some ground where I can start building on the things that i need.

Become a Buddhist Monk?

Hmm I guess the best way to clear your head is convince yourself it's in your best interest not to think about this stuff. If you try and make it just vanish, it'll probably be on your mind more.

If you want to know what stuff I do to clear my head, go for a walk, read something, watch tv (rarely) or draw. Not sure what else to suggest.

Good luck.

I see, that night though it seemed like no matter what I did, I couldn't get one thing or the other off my mind. Anyways, do you have any of your art work online? I too am an artist and I'd like to see your stuff.

Well, up until now I was a digital artist and a web designer. But I have started to draw using pencils. I'm not too good at the moment, I just practice.

I have only just started uploading my work here. I havn't got round to uploading any more, I will tommorow maybe.

Here's the website I just finished.

Really decent, I wanna learn more about flash in over the summer. I'd like to start making websites for extra cash. And the drawing is great. Only thing I'd change is make the facial hair/eyebrows black aswell because it looks like he's either wearing a wig or he dyed his hair.

You can check out some of my old stuff Here

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

Great work m8, I really need some help when it comes to drawing and sketching. Have you got any recommendations for books, ebooks or websites? Tutorials, guides, tips + advice etc. ?

Thanks,

Drawing's a fantastic idea, as it genuinely forces you to concentrate (if you're doing it right) so you don't have the option of letting your mind wander.
My problem is I get very frustrated when I draw, it takes me a few hours to come up with something good most of the time. I usually go through about 20-50 sheets of paper before having a good drawing.

I've always had this problem. Whether it's women, financial or social problems or just the state of the world, my mind always seems to latch onto it. When trying to occupy myself with movies, hanging with friends or games, I still can't distract myself.

What works best for me is some kind of project, such as DIY, fixing a computer, writing an essay or short story, making a little computer animation or presentation, even tidying up! It basically has to be something where I'm working towards a goal and want to see finished.

Drawing and painting is a great activity, but a little too silent to distract me.

I think one solution is to write down what exactly your problem is, then write down possible solutions just so you literally have less to think about. I got this idea from a web page giving advice on better sleep, when you're going to sleep and your mind is overactive, whether it be work or women, if you write down your problems then solve them it takes alot of your mind.

Just a thought,

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.
