I've made an excel to make budget for what money you need to really enjoy yourself in a city for one month. I've made 4 tiers of cities :
- US capital (NYC)
- Western Europe capital (Paris)
- 2nd world capital (Bangkok)
- 2nd world 2nd tier (Chiang Mai)

For each tier I've made 2 subtiers : baller budget and social budget. Baller is just a more high-end version of the social lifestyle (buying more expensive coktails, better restaurants, etc).

Opinions?

Edit : for those who can't see the excel screenshot attached, here's the results :

Western Europe capitalballer17780
Western Europe capitalsocial9240
2nd world capitalballer10090

It's a budget for going out all the time, not the backpacker budget. Thanks for your opinion though.

man , I lived in a couple of 2nd word capitals and I know very well what I am talking about

a good apartment is like 800 euros

eating out in good places is like 20 euros per dinner

a ****tail is 10 euros

this means that with 2k euros you can rent an apartment , eat 30 dinners and still have 60 ****tails \ drinks . Which is like 2 per day

with 3k you already really good

again , unless you do not include h00kers there , 2-3k is a already a solid budget :)

usually a good budget is like 2-4 times the average monthly salary in that city

- Apartment is 800 euros for LONG TERM, yes. Nowadays airbnb in Bkk without losing one day searching a needle in a haystack will be 1500 euros.

- Yes, eating is 20 euros, see my excel screenshot

- Yes, the budget is for 2 drinks per day. Doesn't have to be alcool. The mindset is you can afford to chill at lounges / rooftopbars and pay 2 nice lemonades / smoothies / alcool drinks per day. And that you can pay it for the girl as well if you want to.

- H00kers budget is important. This is the "enjoy yourself" budget, not the backpacker budget. So 2 girls per week of good quality seems good to me.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

You can set Scandinavia as expensive as fvck in its own tier.
Especially Sweden and Norway is brutal where a single large draft beer easily cost $10.26 and a just a a fricking c0cktail will at least set you back $15.40 and up depending on the drink/c0cktail type.
And then don't get me started on the rest like entry fees to night clubs or food bill at restaurants etc. etc. lol

(In both Sweden and Norway the alcohol sales/availability is controlled by the state and only sold in government shop and approved bars/restaurants so there is no competition so that makes the prices of all alcoholic beverages very expensive. They basically think that they need to control and limit peoples access to make them less prone to alcohol addiction etc. Sigh.... Socialism at it's finest..)

One other reason is that in all Scandinavian countries we have 25% vat tax on everything so it makes it very expensive to purchase goods in overall. From clothes to electronics, food etc. Living costs are high here compared to many other countries.

Thanks for the low-IQ answer, minion. If you had read what I instructed people on this thread to read (my excel screenshot), you would have seen that this describes the budget for Western Europe capital tier.

In most of Europe, VAT is 20% to 25%. Nothing about this fact is particular to your country, snowflake.

I'm in one of the 10 most populous US metro areas so I'm likely qualified to discuss US capitals.

I am assuming all denominations are in USD.

In terms of the social budget, $18,680 is a solid budget. If that's a post tax budget, that means pre-tax that the person is making $23-24,000 per month. That's an income of over $250,000 per year, which is solid even in an expensive US metro like New York City. Your money goes further in non-coastal big US metros like Dallas or Houston. You can definitely get laid if your income is $250-300,000 in any US city.

There is absolutely no reason to be rude to members here... Just because the answers/replies doesn't suit you it doesn't mean you have to behave in a uncivilized manner.

There is. You posted garbage and I rightly called you out.
What a nice and pleasant attitude you have... But that tells more about you than me so I don't really give a fvck. Keep doing that to more members here and it will certainly get you banned from the forum. Good luck with that..

money alone does not get you laid , unless you go to h00kers

most Of the guys who complain about not getting laid because they do not have money , it is rarely that the issue

most of the time is that Person has

plus , going to h00kers sounds like a very bad strategy that goes no where

if you want to bang quality , costs a couple of ks for 1-3h . Way over the budgets that are discussed here

bellow that , at couple hundreds you have mainly average girls . Why would you pay a small fortune to bang average and bellow average girls ?

those girls can be banged for free , or almost free . And the sex will be way better too

I could be wooing but I always thought that Washington was the capital of the U.S. In any event, where did you get these number? And where did you get the idea that social life is Western Europe is 50% than in the U.S.? This assumption does not accord with reality.

Maybe you could start by learning to read, then you would have found out that the calculation details were in the attached screenshot. I'm wondering what is the average IQ of the people posting here (excluding me). Probably lower than 100. My IQ is 128, I got tested when I was young.

You should retake that IQ test. It appears you may have suffered brain damage since your youth days.

The screenshot says nothing about where the numbers came from. Did you make them up yourself?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
