Tell your fellow DJ's about the city your currently staying in. What's special about it? Would you recommend it to anyone? Anything that you'd only know if you've lived there? Personally, Im gonna travel when I get older; so it would be great knowledge.

Personally, I currently live in Cape Town, South-Africa. Been here for 7 months. Amazing city, nature wise. I heard it's kinda like Cali, just not as humid. It never rains here; it's been like 10-15 rainy days in my 7 months here. Summer temperature is around 25-35 C and winters are about 10-25C.
The city itself isnt anything I'd compare to how I envision a real american city. The awesomeness of Cape Town lies in the climate, nature, and activities. It's so big, yet so small.

Not sure what part of Cali you are referring to. Here in Southern CA, LA area, it is never humid. Hardly ever rains. Rained here this week for the first time since Mid December. Might rain total 2-3 weeks out of the year. No humidity whatsoever. From Mid December to this week it was sunny and 80 every day. Cool and 50 at night. Most days are 70-90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

Cape Town sounds nice btw.

That might be due to my lack in US geography skills. I was refering to Where Miami is. I've always mistaken California for that state.

Ahhhh, Miami is in Florida, 2000 miles away on the East coast of the USA and on a different ocean haha. The Atlantic. Cali is on the West Coast of the USA on the Pacific Ocean. And yes Miami is VERY humid as it has a tropical climate. Cali is dry as it has a desert climate.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Negative thoughts down the drain just relax, let t
San Fransisco is a cool town, but personally I've always wanted to visit Tokyo, Japan!

I went to Berlin Germnay (and later paris, France) in late summer '06 for the World Cup, and that was right about my peak in puberty, let me tell you the women were so damn perfect there, it was just an excellent cap off to my maturity.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada here... This pretty much sums it up right here:

You don't wanna live here in the winter... unless you like temperatures that dip as low as - 40 celcius and get into the -50 C w/ windchill. Fortunately its only like that maybe 1-2 weeks of the winter, but you can expect several weeks of -15 to - 25 so into the - 30's with windchill. Its snowed like a crazy mofo this winter, and at one point we had snowbanks 6 feet or more high. It seriously felt like you were walking through a military trench when you were walking down the street.

Summers are amazing though. Ya we only get maybe like 3 months of real summer, but man are they awesome! Totally optimal temperatures 10-20 C at night and then 15-30 during the day. Tons of sunshine. Plus living up at these latitudes we only really have maybe 5-6 hours of darkness during peak summer. I would like it maybe a little bit warmer, but really can't complain.

Edmonton and northern Alberta are great places if you wanna work a lot and make good money and live in a safe, clean and quiet part of the world where you'll have universal healthcare. I think the average family income in Edmonton is close to 100k. Girls here are pretty hot, not as good as Calgary. Edmonton is actually quite culturally inclined with tons of festivals, shows, etc. Great University and hospitals.

The natural beauty here is amazing. I love camping, hiking and white water rafting during the summers. The mountains here are still quite pristine and the scale of the forest is insane. Canada's almost half forest.

I live in Medellin, Colombia.
Unless you want your parents (or friends) last memory of you to be trying to recognize you in a Morgue at the HSVdP, don't even think about setting a foot in this ****hole. Whereas your peaceful city gets 50 homicides per year, we fill that up in a single week.

You have been warned.

I'm in Vancouver Canada. It's OK here, but it f***ing rains and it rains. The women here are beautifull, but it's the weirdest juvenille sh1t you have to go through to get one into bed.
Many who live here would maybe disagree with that, but I've travelled to a lot of city's in my life and I say this one is beautifull on the outside and a bit of a basket case in need of some therapy on the inside.

Nature here is stunning though, and the setting of Vancouver with the beach and mountains and parks all through out the city make for a nice place to live, when it's not raining (which is only 4 months of the year) and you have a few plates spinning which requires tactics that verge on bizarre.

It maybe has an 8 block area that is interesting, but the rest is a cultural black hole.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I used to hail from outside of philly near Princeton up I95. Philly wasn't generally well regarded back when I was there.

I lived in Boston for a bit so here is the deal. Boston has more colleges than anyone will ever know. You have the best engineering and business schools within walking distance, and a ton of medical schools including BU, Harvard, Tufts etc. With that in mind, there are a lot of smart interesting women to meet. Boston itself is small and you could walk to most places if need be. The nightlife varies, as some places are college bars and others are actual night clubs with hefty covers. Remember that Boston bar scene is the equivalent to the house party scene in other colleges, so you could end up in a northeastern dorm room at the end of the night!

Overall the city is fun during the summer months when everyone is out and about. During the day, you can head up to the charles and hang out there, or hit up downtown and see the Mazerati's drive on Newbury street. Plenty of places to take a date on too.

Compared to surrounding New England, the women of Boston are a step up in looks, personality and intelligence. It is also interesting to point out that people form cliques much more easily so its harder to pull than probably other cities. For example, kids in medical school who rarely go out will head out as a giant class and will socialize with themselves. Keep that in mind.

I'm borned and raised in the philly area. It's not bad. Chinatown is nice, old city is nice with all the historical sites (lots of bars and restaurants), center city is nice for the 21+ crowd (bar's lounges and high class restaurants), and university city is full of college kids. Pat's and Gino's cheese steaks italian supermarket. Redding terminal is apparently a place that tourists like to visit as well.

My direct family had business in philly, still has a business there and uncles have a few restaurants.

The nice area's in philly are big on hipsters nowadays.

From Sydney, Aus. Nice, sunny place to live. Average 20-30 in summer and 10-20 in winter. It does rain quite a lot though - about 1200 mm a year. Mostly nice people. Plenty of things to do. :D :D

I must admit that Canada is superior to America in many ways. A brighter future as well because of the Canadian immigration policy and the fact that Mexico isn't next door. Montreal is a great town if you already have money and prefer a less Anglo style of life. Toronto is great if you want a massive city with basically everything NYC can give you. Canadian people are also much nicer and easier going than anything you find in America. Seems as if Canadians are more concerned with living and less concerned with "making it". Americans live in delusion. Just read this forum. Every American thinks he can make it big in the next year  . The laws in Canada also are less annoying. Trust me, you will never get carded in Montreal if you look around 16. Gets annoying when 40 year olds have to show ID to get a drink in America!

BTW, there are much better looking girls in Canada than America. Just depends where you go. Do you know why? Immigration. Canada still receives a ton of East European families with decent looking girls.

There you go. She was one of the top models in the 90's. Ukrainian descent (not Jewish like the fake Ukraines in NYC). There are a number of current models from Canada just like her.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irina_Lazareanu
Another of East European blood.

Is this a sarcasm? Those girls are like 6 in Ukraine. Average and starved.

RANT:
Canadian immigration policy is also pretty f@cked up. Basically you can live there on welfare very well meanwhile the court makes its decision. Of course it attracts lot's of smart azzes like Eastern European Gypsies.
And Canadian government instead of denying them welfare, requires VISA for the people of the country of their origin (Czechia for example)....and moves the consulate to another country, so no Gypsy can travel there for application and even if he can, he will be denied ;-) Unfortunately it alienates all the normal citizens of that country, for it is pain and Canadians are just looking opportunistic.

I just love it when someone calls himself Nicer than those ..... . First I learned it is often BS and just a front. Basically their niceness allows them to do really nasty stuff. And we all know what being Nice is all about. Big self esteem problems.

I have quite a few Canadian friends and I do think they are OK and more direct/open than Americans are, so I know what you are talking about.

Only problem with Canada is...it is f@cking cold.

Chicago, IL here.

I absolutely love my city and (aside from winter weather and politics) I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. As far as finding women to meet, it's hard not to. Between the many different neighborhoods in the city, including the many surrounding suburbs, there are more places to go any given night than you could ask for. Like most places I'm sure, you can have completely different experiences depending on where you go out.

Chicago is the third largest city in the US (behind New York and Los Angeles). It is generally known for its great culture, entertainment, and business. Not to mention, the city is very CLEAN!!! One thing people that come to visit always say is how they can't believe how clean it is. I guess that's something to be proud of? Haha

I believe Chicago is one of the greatest sports cities. Nothing is better than watching this city come together on the verge of playoff games/series. The summer is great to go out on Lake Michigan, and while it is only my opinion, we have the single greatest skyline in the country (sorry NY).

I would highly recommend anyone visit here that has not been here, or experienced what the city has to offer. But, wait till it warms up.

I visited Chicago last week. Some pretty hot women, there I must say.

Very windy, but not to bad temp wise.

Went to Jerry Springer taping once, that was alot of fun. Jerry is a pretty nice guy. Show is fake. But still a good time.
