My boyfriend is Catholic, and many of the great marriages I see around me are Catholic couples, Catholic families. I have been impressed for years by many of these couples.

My ex husband was raised Catholic and his mother had an incredible marriage until the loss of his father. His mom was a virgin until her wedding night. She loved, cherished and adored her husband.

So I find myself drawn to men with this background. Its traditional, it's family centric, and it's sacrificial in the sense that you sacrifice self and selfishness for something greater than yourself. The man and the wife do this in the marriages I see in my social circle. The dynamic is beautiful and the children grow up to be well rounded, impressive people.

Hope y'all are enjoying your trip :)

A Catholic women would be attracted to a man whose attributes closely resembles that of Jesus - strength of character, compassion, deep love, leadership etc.

Lutherans are like "Catholic Lite," and they are still far too ritualistic for me. Services consist largely of creepy chants read from a book. I think they sound like forest druids. All that crap was pagan rituals, you know? They just change the names around so that they could attract followers. Worshiping the mother of Jesus is basic fertility goddess stuff. People have been doing that since the beginning of time. And if anyone ever actually reads the Bible, which I doubt, they would find that any form of paganism is the fast track to pissing off God. That's why it's the first commandment.

The organized church (RCs, protestants, orthodox) have abandoned or downplayed (protestants and orthodox) the 'new covenant' and have been captured and imprisioned by Satan and put under the 'old covenant'. Their teachings, doctrines, and traditions prove this.

Just ask an RC, when the 'ten commandments' was completed.

They all still believe the 'old covenant' still applies.

Bottom line, these churches are prisions.

That sounds like the Pharisees, the church people who were the enemy of Jesus and eventually helped get him executed. If the church killed the son of God, then why I am supposed to go to church to celebrate?
The Lord forgave the adulterers, and thieves. ...but the people who made the law the center of their lives and imprisioned those in their care....NO, he hated them.

The only thing worse than legalism is Satan himself.
