Are you guys taking all the precautions about plastic beverage bottles seriously? Or is this more hype? I haven't changed my habits as of yet.

Oh the Bisphenol A scare?

Yeah if I start some hardcore cardio again which I probably will soon I'll definitely buy a water bottle if possible that is safe by any new standards that have come out.

The chemical scare again is all about Bisphenol A to my knowledge and its a chemical that is found in polycarbonate glasses lenses and also is found in the visors astronauts wear.

Its completely safe to wear glasses or that kind of visor using polycarbonate materials but the problems arise when polycarbonate is turned into water bottles as liquid contact releases the chemical and allows it to be digested by humans and it can fvck up your hormones over time I guess.

it's hype.

but if you're still going to throw away your nalgene bottles, you should stop eating/drinking out of cans first (they're nearly all lined with the same substance, and typically have acidic contents)
