Hi guys,

I think it's about time to start a journal to detail my quest for self-improvement. This will be aimed specifically, but not limited to, improvement in picking up and improving my relationships with woman. Feel free to comment as you wish to add in observations and thoughts, however I aim to treat this as a self help tool to mark down my thoughts and analyze my own progress, so I am very happy to talk to myself on here...it's cheaper than setting up a blog!!

About me:

I'm a 25 year old goodlooking and 'in shape' guy from the UK. I have no problems socially and have a great friend base. I usually go out once a week but can sometimes get tempted to go out several times a week if the peer pressure gets the better off me. I am junior lawyer for an Investment Bank, it's fairly mundane sometimes but it has great prospects so my 'blog' probably won't detail too much about this. Aesthetically, my only drawback really is that I am fairly short, 5,8", but I find that this doesn't really hold me back in nightclubs as I wear a nice boot to give myself a wee lift ;) I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week and would consider myself to be in good shape. This is something that I have been working on for the past 6 months. I am starting a small steroid cycle in 2 weeks that will run for 10, having the aim to put on about about 10 lbs of quality lean muscle and lose a little fat if there is any to lose (not much to lose). Please don't try to persuade me to lay off the steroids as it is a personal decision and I know what I am doing. It is a second cycle to one that I done about 4 months ago.

My goals are as follows:

- (Primary goal) Improve my skills at seducing woman. In general my social skills are very good, well above average in fact, however I have noticed that I have become too reliant on alcohol on nights out and struggle to know what to say to girls to progress the relationship more sexually on nights out. This does come from the fact that I am very very picky and will only really consider girls who are very good looking, 7 or above and preferably better. My ultimate goal is to land a very very high caliber quality girl, both from an aesthetic perspective as well having a great personality and high intelligence. I have had 2 long term relationships in the past for 2 years each from 19-23, but I have been single for the last 18 months. I don't need to have a girlfriend but I would like to have more girls in my life as it has become dryer than usual as off late. I notice that I get lots of female attention on nights out, with girls coming up and approaching me, but I haven't been able to convert that into proper results. I think that's a good indicator that I need to tighten up my game, which is what I am about to do :)

- (Secondary goal)Improve my looks so that I will be the best that I can be. I am already about an 8 on the scale, but want to take this to another level though a short cycle, getting a stylish tatoo on my chest (something like GSPs) and getting the best haircut possible..I have moved recently from sporting the fringe up look, to a small come-over and more natural look.....(Think Ryan Gosling here, or that's the aim anyway).

I haven't decided exactly what I am going to be writing in these blogs, but hopefully they will be useful to not only myself, but also to others. In the first few posts I will probably talk around what I know in terms of pick-up and realistically assess where I am in relation to where I know I need to be.

After that, this thing could go anywhere!

Ok so I have had a slow start to this journal, only getting around to making my first proper post now. Hopefully I can be a little more consistent going forward but life can sometimes get in the way.

So where we are at the minute in terms of my goals?...

Image: Doing well with my training. I have one more week of cutting to go before I start a lean bulk. As I said I am starting the gear Monday week so I am cutting up and trying to be as lean as possible this week before the fun starts. I have an appointment with the hairdresser next week to get the Ryan Gosling hairstyle down to a tee also. Ok, so enough about image, I sound like a vain ****.

Game: As I said in my opening post, this is where I want to really improve. I have a pretty good social life but unfortunately with the nature of my job (junior lawyer for an Investment Bank), I am stuck at my desk and don't get to practice as much as possible...if anyone else reading this has a similar job and has some tips on how to work on game or personality whilst balancing work life, please do share :)

One thing that I do realize is that sometimes I can get 'moody' and 'in my own head' when I am in work and completely turn off my desire to talk. However once I start talking to people I have a great personality. For example, if I am having a morning where I am sending emails all morning or reading a case study, then I notice that if I haven't spoken to anyone that morning, been on the telephone or been involved in a conference call then I become 'in my own head' and don't feel very social at all. However, on the contrary, I notice that if I take a conference call early that day or become social in my job, then I feel more in the zone and can lead, dominate and be the man for the rest of the day. Therefore my new approach to life will be to make it my daily mission to start the day of well, pick up the phone, get involved in conversation from the get go and hopefully that will translate to a better and more boss like mode for the rest of the day.

You might be thinking..what has that got to do with game? Well, it has everything to do with game. I notice for example, on a Friday night out if I have had one of those days where I have kept myself to myself I become in an introverted mood and if I go out in that mood I feel nowhere near as confident, I don't feel as comfortable talking to people and I am in my own head. However on days where I have been the boss at work and went out that night I have taken my confidence and translated it in the field.

I almost feel that I sometimes have a split personality; an introverted one and an extroverted one. My aim is to ignite the latter and eliminate the former so I can become the person that I sometimes am, all the time. This will make me happier and more confident, but also it will make me much more confident talking to woman. I have noticed that almost every night where I have bossed it at work that day, if I go out I am irrestible to chicks. It's weird. My friends and I call it 'the aura'. Sometime I have it, sometimes I don't, but I want it all the time.

The next thing that I want to talk about is memorizing some things to say to chicks on nights out. I know this comes across as pathetic, but I genuinely know that if I have some things pre-planned to say in conversation I become much more confident as I know I have a fall back. On that note, I am reading some pick-up material and aim to memorise some lines and witty one liners, just to have in the bag if I need them.

I will talk about these in my next post, hopefully soon this week.

Sorry if this journal seems to be me talking to myself, but that's exactly what it is. I am writing out my thoughts on where exactly I am so that I know where I need to improve and hopefully once I do that I can start writing some more relatable things to you guys.

We had a discussion recently about whether 5'8'' is short. Most dudes don't think so. You're not tall, but you're not short, and you won't have problems picking up cause of height (as long as you're cut). Your mild case of height deficiency only matters if you're scrawny. Scrawny tall dudes have less of a problem.

But you're working out so no worries. ;)

I'd be careful with steroids dude, I don't think they're necessary at all, and the hormones **** with your head (and your balls (ask Lance Armstrong)). I take forever to put on more weight, but I do it au naturale cause my long-term health is more important to me than immediate results.

Yeah I know bud. I'm definitely a little below average but I am a pretty good looking guy and I am in pretty good shape so I don't have too much to worry about there. I don't really have an issue with my height, and I find chicks don't either. In the clubs I am usually one of the guys that most checked out guys, but because I am in my own head sometimes I get in my own way.

On the steroids, thanks for your advice man. I do know the risks, but I did a cycle about 6 months ago and I was fine afterwards. My balls didn't shrink and I did a good pct which made sure I had no problems with the pecker ;) It's a life choice and I respect someones opinion on either side of the fence, but it is a decision I have not taken lightly. I plan on getting my bloods done after this cycle to make sure everything is in order and then that will probably do me for at least a year or maybe forever, but you can't talk me out of this one :p x

You sound like a guy who might have trouble gaining muscle, I would suggest getting your diet in order first before trying steroids (muscle growth problems are usually calorie problems).

If you are going to use steroids, which you probably will after reading these posts, atleast.. Atleast take this one bit of advice: Be very, VERY careful.

Let's not make this a discussion on steroids folks. The decision is made. My diet is as close as I can realistically have it to perfect. At the moment I am carb cycling and doing a cut so that I can bulk on the steroids with a very low body fat %. I am already in very good condition but I want to be in truely excellent condition: lean as well as having a sold amount of muscle.

Let's be honest, everyone likes to go out and have a drink at the weekends and if you are doing it natural there is very minimal room for error on the diet and lifestyle side. You have to give up a lot more, well I do anyway. My genetics are fine and I am in good nic, but I am not a mesomorph so a little extra help is just what I need. For those that are interested I will be doing a simple test e, 10 week cycle. The safest you can get.

It seems like a good enough read, but most of the stuff is covered in here. However it costs like 200 bucks so let me know and I'll sort you out :)

If doing steroids you may want to consider oestrogen blockers to prevent gyno, and also PCT too, so you dont just piss away your gains when you drop the water weight.

obviously depends on the type of steroids

I have an A.I on hand brother, but won't be using it unless I get signs of high estrogen such as loss of libido or gyno. Hopefully I wont need to use it.

Of course I will be doing a PCT. I already have everything I need before I have started my cycle.

Skip the steroids, they have too many side-effects to be worth it. Unless your genes are utterly deficient, you should be able to gain a decent amount naturally. Steroids is the cowards way out.

From now on, if someone talks about the steroids I will just ignore them. This is not a steroids debate. Millions of people use them to great effect so stfu and move on. Please and thank you.

Anyways, rant over..

I have downloaded the love systems routine manual so I am going to work on memorizing some routines. There are some real terrible ones in the manual which I just cant relate to so I will only be picking the best ones that suit me best I can work into my own game.

I don't get much chance to game people during the day and I am taking a few weeks of partying so I think I am just going to indulge in some routines so that when I am next in the field they will be rolling off the tip of my tongue.

There is always Facebook and Twitter for a little bit of social-networking mischief though ;)

Sorry for not updating this guys...Things have been very busy with work and gym, and I haven't had much time to update my blog.

I have an interview to work for Barlays Capital Markets legal team on Monday so I am up to my eyes preparing for that and balancing work and gym and keeping on top of the diet.

The gym is going great and the gear is starting to kick in already. My shape is starting to get great and my arms are really filling out so on a looks front I am on the up. It's just frustrating that I don't get out in the field so often anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas for how to stay in the field, when not out and about on the social scene?

I'm looking forward to getting this over with so I can get back in the game.

Treat everywhere as the field.
Home and office are off limits for pickup to a true playa, but anywhere else is Field.
Supermarket.
Gym.
Swimming pool.
Library.
Just walking down the street.

Sarge on brother.

Yes, I need to start treating life as the field...will take your advice. I can't just rely on club game my whole life especially when I don't have time for it at the moment.
