I thought about this earlier as I was doing my laundry for the month (ugh). 5 loads of fun! But seriously.... what is it about yourself that you think makes you stand out from other guys in your age group? Think of your top 3 for yourself and share it with everyone. Remember these and use them to your advantage next time you are out hunting.


First off, I am 23 years old.... and this is why I will steal all of your women!

1) I am independent. I live on my own... with no roomates, no one helps supprt me. I have earned and paid for everything thatI own, myself. This in itself gives me a great deal of confidence.

2) I listen to what women tell me. And I don't do it in a pimping way. I am truly interested in other people and what they are thinking and feeling.

3) I am colorful and have "high energy". Friends tell me to "mellow out" and the ladies tell me I am a good time. I'm not afraid to speak my mind or argue over something, just as long as they realize that I am always right.

1. I make jokes all the time and the compliment I get more than anything else is I have a sexy smile...that and nice arms.

2. I've been living on my own since I was 16 so I had to grow up fast, so I give off a mature vibe while not being too serious

3. I'm working towards a Master's degree and I have all kind of IT certifications and lots of ambition.

On a bad note, I'm mixed with black and white and people with any black don't get much love in KY. But I'm not too worried about it. .....it's their loss, not mine

1. I can relate to your # 2 industry. I too listen to what people and women have to say, cuz I am genuinely interested. Alot of times it pays off bcos I recite things from minor details that took place months ago to a girl and often times shes REALLY impressed, and truely knows I listen.

2. I am a funny and joyful person, I like to make people smile/laugh, that just bcos spiritually and mentally I am on a mission to improve myself, and basically I know in all things God is in control.

3. I am humble, I have alot of 'achievements' and things I could let go to my head, but I don't.

My best friends father once told my friend "Hes so Mellow" referring to me. You know that your doing right when others complement on it. In a nutshell, I know I am a catch for any girl who actually take the time out to get to know me. The ones that have in the past are usually glad that they did

This isn't a challenge to your religious beliefs or anything, but how do you reconcile recreational sex with your religion?

1. Unusual beard - sorta like a wide goatee w/ the middle third missing. Odd facial hair (as long as it actually looks good) can make an interesting convo starter. For example, ppl will frequently ask "do you actually shave the middle?".

2. Extremely mellow, maybe a little too much so. My parents frequently worry that I don't care about anything because I so rarely show much emotion. When I do show emotion, it's usually happiness, laughter, or love, so I also come across as a positive person. Optimism and a positive attitude are very attractive, b/c people that are negative tend to drag everyone else down with them, and that's never fun.

3. Interesting hobbies - I'm a musician (as the name implies) and a juggler. Besides being cool to watch/listen to, my hobbies also imply that I'm good with my hands

LOL!! ...simple.. I thank the Lord everyday for what I'm blessed with. Obviously, it's not just the sex... but I thank the Lord for that too.

I've got a baby on the way, the mother is every bit, the woman of my dreams, considering that she can't have kids, this is just another example why I'm thankful, and why, with God, anything is possible.

I think that Industry just wanted to start a thread to help people get to know each other a bit better. Also, it can be viewed as an exercise to help strengthen your confidence since he said, "remember these and use them to your advantage next time you are out hunting."

Damn cootielicious... you took the words right out of my mouth. I just meant it as a way of thinking outside the box a little. Everyone knows the cookie cutter of what a girl wants (Confidence, Charisma, CHallenge). But that will only get you in the door. You've gotta have substance and know what your strong points are over others to succeed in the long haul.

I hate thiefs, used to do it, learned how LOW of me it was to do, changed accordingly, but ahh, ya right man, nutin like a girl with AFC BF, who wants to bone you instead!

What makes me stand out?

Not sure, but I've had about 25 women approach ME in the last two years - and put it this way, if THEY approach YOU, then they usually get to the point very quickly and you can be assured of a high Interest Level.

All 3 reasons are sort of intertwined, but here they are -

1) Smiles and a great attitude - you will rarely find me in a bad mood. I'm always smiling and friendly to anyone (unless they turn out to be an a-hole). By treating all males and females I meet as equals until proven otherwise, people find me very approachable.

2) Social Proof - comes from the smile and attitude. I have a LOT of female friends who are huggly, snuggly and will sit on my lap or give me kisses and flirt their ass off. This can't help but attact the attention of other females in the bar. Plus any females introduced by my friend immediately feel comfortable because their good friend is so warm to me.

3) Lack of Ego - I'm a professional musician who plays in some pretty wild bands and this is where I get most approaches, but I'm a "gutter dweller" at heart and can be seen sitting in an alley behind a pub smoking a joint with friends. Many times I've been invited by a groupie for a toke outside and if you play it cool, just sitting on empty beer kegs and chatting while you smoke then they know you're human, not just some ego-fuelled rock-star. Don't talk about yourself, ask about them and listen - the interest level is already high, so don't screw it by saying "I'm so good" and she'll be putty in your hands.

Like I said, the 3 reasons are all sort of intertwined, but they work for me.

Just smile, be C&F and approachable as possible and you shouldn't have any problems.
