Cell phones in the hands of women are bad for DJ's

I just noticed another point about cell phones and a guys GF.

I have noticed this for some time. Every time I leave campus, chicks are getting on their cell phones and either checking messages or calling (I admit I do it sometimes too).

However, this has become the worst possible thing for us DJ's. Because you can't scam on girls because they are always on the ****ing things.

See that hottie you wanted to talk to after class. Too bad, she's got the cell phone glued to her head.

Furthermore, sometimes you answer the phone and it's your gf wanting you to do something for her. It's horrible!

But alas, it is too late. Girls will forever have one attached to their head.

I guess the only solace is that they will dump their AFC boyfriends who are always calling them on it.

yes. thank you. This is exactly the point i've been trying to get across for a while. I hate it, this happens to me everytime i see a chic that i want to talk to. She's got that stupid phone up to her ear. I think the ony way we can take a stand against this is talk to chics as little as possible on the phone.
OF course nothing is going to stop them from talking to themselves but we can just refrain from phone conversations. Call when we HAVE to to make a date but DO NOT chat on the phone. Leave that to others schmoes who are gonna end up pouring their hearts out to them and becoming an emotional tampon.

Last week I made a nightclub approach with my semi-AFC wingman. There were two girls, so we sat one on either side.

My chick was very receptive, and I heard murmuring from the other side so I assumed my wingman was doing well.

But later he told me as soon as he sat down she pulled out the phone and talked for 2 mins! poor bastard, what a b1tch!

where i live (in israel) everyone is consistently on the phone.

through, class, walking, eating, driving, during the mother fvcking movies too.

and the thing is here for the most part no one even recognizies how annoying it is.

I set that hoe straight in 2 minutes and she was all over me by the end of the night.

Get a cell phone jammer

Maybe the answer is to get a cell phone jammer. I ordered on from the uk but it will be a while till I get it and it is really illegal here in the USA but that is my only tool to fight this cell phone madness.

Look men, I know it's frustrating to see a phone glues to a chicks ear. Would you like to know what's worse?

Consider this. My former wingman -- he proposed to this girl last year. They had set a date and everything. Recently, he postponed it. Like many on this forum, he thought that he should have the woman's undivided attention. Well, be careful what you wish for, you may get it.

Think about it. A girl with very few friends, so she doesn't get that many calls. She has very few friends, so she wants to hang out with you and your friends. Not every now and then -- all the time. What else i she going to do? She works, but when she get s off work, she wants to be with him.

My former wingman used to boast how into him this girl was. She would sit through our technical discussions without b*tching or moaning once. (still not sure why she was there, except that she didn't want to stay home and be bored, I guess)

But, now, he's postponed the wedding. He's tired of having this girl leach onto him, with no life of her own, no friends that want to take her shopping, or whatever it is those girls do on Friday mornings after Thanksgiving.

So, when you see a girl talking on her cell, it's a good thing, trust me. A girl that has nothing going on is not going to capture your interest for very long. True, it's a bit rude for her to answer the phone while you're macking on her, but she may have a job that calls for her to be on call, or she may have an elderly parent, or a young child at home. It is usually another girl, asking for a c*ckblock, I suspect.

The best way to get around this rudeness is to just be polite. Give them privacy and walk away. The girl is either into you, or she's not. When I'm with a girl with high interest level and her phone rings, she just puts it on silence and keeps talking or listening to me.

When I'm with a girl with low interest level, she just answers her phone and ignores me. It's an excellent way for you to save some time and energy.

Agreed. Probably the one decent thing the club scene has is loud music to keep girls off the friggen phone.

Yeah in a few cases for me, it's become a good sign of a lack of interest if a girl answers her phone while I'm there.

I always thought they shut off their phone because of other guys they are dating might call (that's why I shut mine off with girls, because I don't want her to see the other girls name flash up on my screen, although I probably should LOL)

Hot Ice, that is one thing that is true too. If a girl has an AFC boyfriend, him calling her all the time will definitely lead their relationship to a more accelerated ending.

ever since the invention of the cell phone women have one more little tool in their seduction arsenal. women are naturals and id say most of the time them being on the phone is for one purpose only... to look important. they may have somebody to talk to, they may be talking to themselves, but they know being on the phone makes them look important and busy. most guys see a woman on her cell phone and worry that they cant make an approach or they think that the girl is in fact embroiled in some important conversation. when i see every single goddamn woman on campus with a cell phone on her ear, or when i see a girl sitting and messing with her phone i chuckle to myself. its almost laughable.

It quite frankly drives me crazy. You are right, I didn't think how it makes them look important while they are busy discussing with their female roommate what brand of toilet paper they should get!

In fact, that is what I will imagine everytime I see a chick on her phone. She can't make up her freaking mind what toilet paper to get when she goes to the store, so she has to call one of her girlfriends.

I can just see it now, I'll walk up to a girl and say "Charmin"

I've seen chicks put their cell phones to their ear and not even talk...just stand there and make it look like they are so guys won't talk to them. They could be checking voice mail or whatever, but still.

they are NOT doing it so you won't talk to them. women like being talked to duh. them talking on their cell phone isn't a way to keep you from approaching. they do it for 3 reasons. 1. they might actually have somebody to talk to. 2. all the other females do it and since society is the book of women they do it too. and 3. to look busy, important, social proof, etc.

Why not just interrupt their phone conversations?

Earlier today I field tested that. I ignored the fact that this chick was on the phone and said to her, "Dude, how do you get to _________ from here?" Then she looked at me and I was like, "Does the person you're talking to know?"

She told the person she'd call them back and then I had her attention. I ****ed up my C&F and blew her out, but still I learned an important lesson: interrupt the ****ing calls because YOU are a lot more exciting than whoever she's talking to.
