Bad logic, because if a car's cheaply made, customers are going to catch on, and switch brands. Why do you think Japanese cars nearly stole America from the American car companies?

My second Honda needed more work than my Ford truck currently does, but my first was fine for over a year until the distributor blew. The car's history is the biggest issue, and I'd rather buy a car with 300,000 highway miles than 100,000 miles spent doing Fast and the Furious imitations (unless it's something like a WRX which needs to be worked out hard to stay in shape)
