Carry around a pad of paper?

you guys who get tons of numbers/email addresses.. do you carry around a pad of paper? where do you have the girl write her info?

I use my cell phone, I flip it open, press "Add New Entry", then I have her dial her number into it. Call me old-fashioned, if you will.

I wouldn't ask for an email address. Its too un-personal, or just something about saying "Hey HB can I have your email address" just makes mee feel nerdy. When talking to a HB, just say: "hey well talk to you later, I should call you sometime and we can hangout or go to a party", not too direct or indirect IMO.

thanks, i'm glad that works for you. i still want to get the email address though. any ideas? is a small notepad the way to go? i'm a student, so no business cards

Sorry, I guess I didn't even try to answer your question. He is right. Don't come too prepared that would deffinatley lose points unless you had your binder with you at school but schools out. Alteast for me, forever Most girls cary purses or something lke a purse and have a pen or something to jot down anything and so just be like do you have something to write with and write it on any piece of paper or on your hand? I have no idea I guess.

thanks. yeah, i carry around a pen normally, but the piece of paper is the problem for me. i think a notepad would be too obvious right? maybe i should get tons of different people's business cards, and carry one of each person's card in my wallet, and have girls write on that?

any other ideas?

lol.. ever heard of a cell phone phonebook? a pad of paper would be so lame. and dont even think about asking for email, not only is that stupid, but email is archaic these days... for work and keeping up with people you rarely see.

I used to carry one of those micro-marble notebooks and a small pen.

I would fill it up with "junk thoughts" so it didn't look like I was just a tremendous dog.

These days, I, like many above, just use the cell.

If you're a student does that mean you have a diary with timetable and all that kinda crap? Well thats where you write emails. Works for me, except of course when they are sitting waiting for you to find a page not already covered in email addresses.
