I just don't know why I have a problem with thinking of what my family thinks because if I were to do that then they would all look at me as an idiot because they think she's "good for me/keeps me out of trouble". I've been with a VERY controlling woman for 7 years now. For the past 2 years I have been wanting to break up with her but I just can't! She does not allow it. She controls me in every way whether it be what kind of music I listen to, the things I do.. She always tells me "I don't want that in a guy, blah blah". I get BS for going on the internet because she tells me "I stopped going on the internet, so why can't you!? Internet freak." I break up with her but even if I tell her WE'RE THROUGH she will not allow it! We've been together 7 years. She knows ALL my family and she puts up an act so all my family loves her. And when I tell them I wish I was never with her they call me a crybaby and grow up, and I get looked as the BAD GUY.

I am just looking for help, What do I do?? This is my first relationship as well. I can't do anything by myself, At night we have to be on the phone ALL DAY! No matter what I say if I tell her I'm going to shower, she says bring her with me, if I tell her I'm busy she says she'll wait, She wants to be on the phone at all times! Since we're on the phone all day, I go on the internet and she asks me "What are you typing?" And all these questions! She constantly accuses me of being with another girl. She wants to go out places to see what kind of girls I look at and when I check out some skinny girl she tells me"See you do liek skinny girls, im ****ing getting anorexic just watch me" Everytime I am watching TV and there is a girl on TV who she probably thinks looks prettier than her, she tells me "That's the kind of girl you want to be with huh? With a body like that, Don't ****ing lie to me"
PLEASE anyone help me with this nightmare! It's like the only thing I can do is move which I can't do. I met another girl and it was ruined because that new girl found out about this girl and got threatened so obviously she didn't want to get involved and left. There's no way I will ever be able to meet another girl while this girl is in my life because she won't allow it.

If the cops ask you why she might have done it, tell them some BS about how she was majorly depressed and never showed it to anyone but you, and you just guess she couldn't take it anymore. You and your whole family will all be better off with her dead and gone.

Maybe that's too dramatic for you, but I'd still say let her. If you'd rather handle it differently, go with the other guys' suggestions. Restraining order and police involvement should take care of it.
