For me, getting a phone number is meaningless, because a lot of girls give out their real phone number(wish they would give a wrong number on purpose instead of giving out their real one and never answer or call back) and never respond or call/text back because they didn't want to decline, reject the guy in person. I would say getting past the first date is what matters the most, because that's when there is potential if you can get past the first date

- 95% of them mean nothing
- If they also ask for your number, most of the time they are not interested
- They like to have little ego boost tokens
- Social status (out with the girlies, "omg! this guy just called me and wants a date"
- Usually, it does mean something when they take your phone and put their digits in without you asking for it.

Yup phone numbers mean nothing if you don't get the positive results subsequently

One way to solidify the number is utilizing the bounce or the "insta-date." As I stated in another thread, if you can successfully bounce a chick you just met to a nearby location you've built up enough comfort with the chick where she has at a minimum level of trust in you and you've definitely transitioned to female-to-male attraction. Once you're at the bounce location, you can proceed with the number close. In my opinion you shouldn't even go for a number close unless you've successfully bounced her to another location. Numbers are only acceptable if you can't bounce her to another location.

DON'T GET PHONE NUMBERS!!! Give it to them and instruct them to hit you up.

Or you can do ^^^^^. However, your game has to be a bit tighter and requires you to endure a learning curve to get to the point that when you do give her your number and instruct her to call, "the power of Christ will compel her to do so."

basically what I mean is don't get your hopes up too high, it could be a wrong number or she could give you the right number but not answer or call back, neither text back, be flaky or you don't make it past the first date

Yeah that's what it seems like, girls usually don't have their guard up, put up less barriers when meeting guys through their social circle, their job or school, they are more receptive in those settings
