yeah I remember now. it was so you learned good form safely with higher reps (forcing you to use a lighter weight) - after a month or two you change to a power-oriented routine like the one I gave Adone. Or even keep with the current one, just reduce the volume and increase the weights.

You don't need to up reps, you need to up volume.

So aim for low reps (3-5) but high #sets (on weekly average).

high reps == light weight, you need heavy weight, so aim for low reps.
