heres my story as u guys now my situation when it comes to dating and girls-yea well nil to none, tried in college so far no success-gonna ask few more lets see what happens-even if they say yes i doubt its going to that far-maybe just one or max 2 dates-i ama such a rookie at 25 with a 15 yr old experience.

well today and couple of days back eating dinner my mom - did mention to me indirectly about gaining a wife or meeting a gf in china-farming china that is.these girls in china -don't speakl english, can only cook and clean and bear children for u-kinda of like a mail order bride i guess-only into you for the canadian citizenship and to get out of the third world. i'm not a traditional person-i'm a canadiazed chinese cbc born-(yea i now my english sucks, so does my math-i just suck at school.) i can barely speak any cantonese-not even fluent, took manadrin-very beginners-can't even make a sentence up. this is not what i exactly have planned but i guess if i don't or can't find a gf or wife soon i guess it will be a solution-yea in my 30's or so-i mean i still hvae time to change but at the rate i'm goin -heck who nows- and when i finish college - wouldn't even be a rich person either.


i guess my folks are pretty much ok to fine with it the idea since they are so tradional and all. if they had to choose between a white girl with a good career job and a girl from china who barely could speak english-my folks would pick the chinese barerly speaking girl. myself it be my total last solution. imagine marrying someone nowing they don't love you, all the want is a citizen card, and in todays society who can even live on one persons salary and support 2 kids-the man working and women staying at home, i mean u sure can jsut be cheap and budget-no my style


anyone ppl here or now of anyone who was a canadized or westernized born asian -couldn't find their SO in north america and had to go east to find one. any advice on helping me out. been askin girls out and will keep on doin it-anymore advice

I'm half asian and I've gotten some okay play with some hotties. But listen to this: don't get a mail order bride its better to be alone than to be together with someone of bad company. You should go out with some friends 4 nights a week (with friends to bars clubs etc.), work out and get in shape, and find some good attractive style for clothing. I know there are also clubs you can join where foreigners congregate to develope language skills. (this is made up of people who were born in america who want to learn chinese and people from china who want to learn english) These people are your starting point. Remember it does not matter where you start just remember the importance of where you're going. Then you'll end up being somewhere better than you could have ever imagined. Don't take the easy way out man!

I agree. Getting a mail order bride is almost like dating a woman you aren't attracted to her personality and maybe not even her body. For guys who take the easy way out - you just want a trophy b1tch to take around even though you both have nothing in common. She will be there sitting quietly as her wasteful life passes by, and you will get to have sex with her but she'll be like a dead fish because she feels nothing for you.

I am bbc (british born chinese) I'm fluent in cantonese and know a bit of mandarin.

I agree that we can be an AFC and be successful with girls back in China, but you don't have to go for the ones that are comepletely undeducated.

Soh Zhao (place near Nan Jing) was always reputed to have some fine looking girls (and they do, believe me, I've been there.)
Just don't go for the farmer girls, go for the ones who are quite well off (not rich, spoilt brats obviously, but one that has been to a Uni at least).

don't fall for the first thing you see. I believe there are plenty of good girls in the US unlike what some web sites that promote foreign women. If you do find a foreign bride, who is to say that she won't fall for someone where you live just as easyily as you found her. I have 3 good friends who are vietnamese, born there, but grown up in the UK.

They are all popular with the ladies, 1 has a long term relationship, another doesnt really go out socialising much anymore, but when he did was a right little ladies man.

and the other who I hang out with most weekends, is one of the biggest partyers you could meet, and has always had fit girlfriends as long as i've known him.

Ok, so saying your AFc, so are a lot of other popel who come here, but they manage to get over it, so can you!
