I think there were a couple hideous rap groups in the early 90s who tried it, their mullets fading into history...

It's all the trend in New Zealand for the Maori. The also like to bleach them.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Wow...you guys are young.

Long before the mullet became the haircut of ridicule for the white community, in the early eighties we black people also had our own version of it.

Back then, especially here in the dirty south we used to call it "The Shag".

Check out any early Shalamar (Howard Hewett) video from the early eighties on Youtube, or better yet, check out ANY Lionel Ritchie video ALL THROUGHOUT the eighties.

Ain't nothin' new my friends, it's just variations or innovations on the same old thing---------with a different name that "the kids" might be calling it these days.

RESPECT to you my brothers.

Soldier on.

See, now backbreaker says he's growing a mullet, its alright?

But when I said about the rat tail, I got bashed for it.

The mullet is one of the worst hair fads I've ever seen.

The rat tail (the proper one) reaks havoc and is ftw. Lots of Columbian and Brazilian playboys, pimps and naturals have this. Wouldn't Black people have to straighten the back a bit (perm) or unless you want it like a afro?

I think Jheri Curls are kind of black mullets too. The preferred coiffage of bamas and rednecks respectively.

Cornrows remind me of mullets too. Mullets are only appropriate on old beer-drinking hell-raisin' OLD white men and cornrows are only appropriate on cute as a button pre-teen black girls. Or little white girls who have just returned from a trip to the Jamaica. Otherwise they have a similiar amount of fail attached to them.
