On how to meet women and what to say and things like that? I was thinking about Neil Strauss' The Game but I heard it's primary focus is his personal story.

Firstly, The Game by Neil Strauss isn't a PUA book; it is his own story from total AFC to mPUA.

Secondly, you learn most of this stuff in the field. Here - I'll give you the secret.

Just get 48 Laws of Power.

Its all you need.

Not some canned PUA openers or bullsh!t routines.

Its true that The Game is Style's own story BUT you will learn a lot. 90% of PUAs out there started by reading his book. It is a powerfull read, it gives you good field examples, and informs you in-depth on everything you need to know about the community. I personally recommed this book to eveybody that wants to know what it takes to be a PUA.
Oh yeah, and even tho its a little outdated, The Mystery Method is also a good book.

90%? Didn't The Game just come out a few years ago?

Yes your statement is correct, the guy you quoted is uneducated about how long the PUA community has thrived for. However, many DJ's in recent times started by reading either that book, or David Deangelo's e-books.
I'd start off by reading those two first, than go out and use the skills you learned. You could read 100's of books and have so much knowledge, but if you can't apply it, you aren't a DJ. Simple as that.

I agree with Kontroller X The 48 Laws of Power is a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It gives you plenty to think about and is a solid ideology to follow with your normal, everyday life. It isn't a direct book on meeting women by any stretch of the imagination, but it can give you the tools and mindset you need to make yourself successful and confident, both of which naturally attract women.
As far as actually dating books, like everyone else said, The Game, Double Your Dating, and The Mystery Method, are all pretty good.

I'm reading The Game 2 by Neil Strauss, its not really a book though but it might be a good read. He sexed some 60 yr old HB4 in it.. its not exactly on the same level as his last book.. hah its taking a different direction.

Uneducated? I've read most of the masf archives of the top PUAs out there. I'm far from uneducated. Actually, as a reader of The Game, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be unaware of the beginnings of the community, since it explicitly describes how the comunity started and all the PUAs that already existed before Style's appearance. I'm merely saying that about 10% of PUAs existing today didn't use The Game to get started in the community. Why. Because they were already involved in it

Relax, when I said you were uneducated, I based my response on what you said:

I guarantee 90% of PUA's out there did NOT start by reading 'The Game'. I'm not debating whether you've read most of the masf archives of the top PUAs out there.. I was just stating that a statement you made was incorrect since a member (Master Bates) was clarifying about it.

I bought The Mystery Method, it's a really interesting read. Seems like it's more geared towards advanced people looking to score bigger though. I'm going to read a couple more books.

Two books that should (if you read them right) help you the most are

The art of seduction and 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. Alot of things you most likely don't need or won't ever ned but knowing them helps out.

Also you can download the pdf's off any sharing tool and print them out, id point you in the exact location but thats warez :)
