Firstly, The Game by Neil Strauss isn't a PUA book; it is his own story from total AFC to mPUA.nsxjg80 said:On how to meet women and what to say and things like that? I was thinking about Neil Strauss' The Game but I heard it's primary focus is his personal story.
90%? Didn't The Game just come out a few years ago?r0cky said:Its true that The Game is Style's own story BUT you will learn a lot. 90% of PUAs out there started by reading his book. It is a powerfull read, it gives you good field examples, and informs you in-depth on everything you need to know about the community. I personally recommed this book to eveybody that wants to know what it takes to be a PUA.
Oh yeah, and even tho its a little outdated, The Mystery Method is also a good book.
Yes your statement is correct, the guy you quoted is uneducated about how long the PUA community has thrived for. However, many DJ's in recent times started by reading either that book, or David Deangelo's e-books.Master Bates said:90%? Didn't The Game just come out a few years ago?
Uneducated? I've read most of the masf archives of the top PUAs out there. I'm far from uneducated. Actually, as a reader of The Game, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be unaware of the beginnings of the community, since it explicitly describes how the comunity started and all the PUAs that already existed before Style's appearance. I'm merely saying that about 10% of PUAs existing today didn't use The Game to get started in the community. Why. Because they were already involved in itAxcell said:Yes your statement is correct, the guy you quoted is uneducated about how long the PUA community has thrived for. I'd start off by reading those two first, than go out and use the skills you learned. You could read 100's of books and have so much knowledge, but if you can't apply it, you aren't a DJ. Simple as that.
I guarantee 90% of PUA's out there did NOT start by reading 'The Game'. I'm not debating whether you've read most of the masf archives of the top PUAs out there.. I was just stating that a statement you made was incorrect since a member (Master Bates) was clarifying about it.r0cky said:90% of PUAs out there started by reading his book.
