Re: Re:
Well, you were doing okay, until about there. Just as Antichrist said, a hurricane is NOT a premeditated act. How the hell could one possibly consider it to be one? While, yes, whoever was in charge of the levees should have done more to prevent what happened, it's not like anyone intentionally made them weak so that New Orleans would be wiped out.
And how the hell can you excuse shooting on the officials? It's not like they were just firing on police officers (still bad enough). These people were firing on people that were there to help and rescue them. No matter how pissed off at the government they were, nothing can excuse that. Even if they did feel abandoned by their own government (which is understandable, seeing as it should have acted faster), why the hell would they fire on people trying to help them? This event was a terrible tragedy and disaster, but the people that have been looting, raping, killing, etc. are all nothing but scum and don't deserve help from any of us.

This was premeditated act, just as was 9-11.
Looting has sprung up b/c supplies are on short order. Millions have been displaced, and treated like animals. As far as we know, people are without food, shelter, sanity, showers, clothing, etc, basically everything, what have they got to lose? It's survival of the fittest. And though it isn't right to fire or shoot on officials, what else would you do if you felt abandoned by your government, those we pay to protect us, inform us, and take care of us???
