Any of you guys ever had such women problems you start to become depressed.was depresses me is not being able too keep a women interested for a long time.Basically my question is can a women really drive a man to become insane.

Only if the man allows it to happen. Everybody are responsible for their own thoughts. Unfortunatly some people have a habit of thinking negatively.

I think so. I just got out of a relationship that lasted a little longer than a year with a woman I didn't even like that much. I broke up with her a couple months ago and I can't seem to get her off of my mind now. I don't know why I'm stressing over it as I know the relationship wasn't a permanent thing, but for some reason, I can't get out of this funk I'm in at the moment.

A women can cause a man to be depressed. Anyone who's been dumped in an LTR will not argue that you do feel depressed after getting your heart kicked in.

This applies to getting punked at dating too.

However, I think the real question isn't can a women cause you to be depressed, but how do you react to it.

For example:

If you chase and chase a girl, and she has all the power and you're constantly feeling rejected, then you are causing yourself to be depressed.. Not the chick.

If you move on with your life you will no longer feel depressed..

If you get dumped and you keep begging for second chances, it's gonna hurt a lot more, especially if she leads you on and then rejects you.

If you move on and don't look back, it will hurt, but you will heal.


So yes they can cause depression, but it's only long term if you allow it to be.

Are you asking can they drive a man to be depressed or insane?
There are huge differences between the two illneses. I think not only men but women too can become depressed if they cant keep a man.
I dont think they can drive them to insanity tho, at least not permanent insanity.

I would say yes since i just got my heart kicked in by an 8 year relationship. Its only as bad as you let it get but then again its hard to control how you heart feels when its kicked in like that.

If you can control the situation then definitely you can get past the depression quicker.

Yes, most certainly.

In my case, it was two LTRs (9yrs & @3yrs) that got to me badly. Anything shorter/less committed didn't really matter.

If you're that subject to depression, then you already had the disease, it was just waiting for an environmental trigger to set it off. You need medication at the very least if this is happening. An SSRI is probably most appropriate and has an excellent change of reducing your depressive symptoms. There are online depression scales you can take, print out, and carry with you to an MD if talking to a mental health professional carries too much stigma. I can tell you from my work experience that nothing makes a man more attractive to women than being happy.
