Doing campus interviews with women that reveals what attracts them and what turns them off.

Help me revise my questions!

QUESTIONS

1. How do women view sex?

2. How do you think guys view sex.

3. Do you think guys today are more passive or more dominant than say, 30 years ago?

4. Which is worse: a guy who says, "You're in charge fully, I'm not going to make any decisions, I'm going to rely on you and be told what to do," or a guy who says, "I'm in charge."

5. Are gender roles sexist? For example, is a guy being seen as the 'protector and provider' sexist, or traditional...

6. Here most girls answer they want a man to take care of them. So I ask.

Is that a social thing? Or natural instinct? Where men want to take care of the women.

7.. Which type of man do you prefer: dominant or passive.

8. LAST QUESTION! Who make better liars. Men? Women?

Most admit women do. And they say it proudly lol. I then ask, "So you agree you're less trustworthy than men?"

the way it works is that anyone woman is useful, but only the best men are required, so we men have to be one of them

Question 1-5 are far too open-ended and require a long response - will take far too long to fill in. Question 6 - how the hell would they know? Not many evolutionary psychologists around.

I think the questions are too open, it's going to be really hard to analyse the data.

I would make most of the questions scale 1-5 agreement format (e.g. "when on a date a man should take total control" 1= strongly disagree / 5 = strongly agree). Or "what type of man do you prefer?" 1= very passive / 5 = very dominant.

1-------2-------3-------4-------5

Make statements and get them to circle on a scale like above. It makes it much easier/quicker for the participants to fill in and much easier to analyse the data afterwards. They should be able to complete it in 2mins or under if you want to get a decent sample size.

You could put 1 or 2 open ended questions at the end but it's best to keep it short. Something like "biggest turnoff" or "favourite part of male body" would be good open-ended questions. Only requires a quick answer. You don't want to make them write essays because they likely don't have time + it's going to be nightmare collating the data if you get a decent sample size.

Make it simple, quick, relevent and get as a big a sample size as you can for accuracy.
