calling right after a date

hey guys, when i go out i meet chicks in the city. most times they take public transit. these girls ride the buses and skytrain late at night, i wont even do that in the day. so my question is, is it alright to phone a girl right after the date to check to see if she made it home okay?

maybe a quick call like: "hey, im just making sure you weren't mugged or stabbed on your way home, no, okay, great, talk to you later."

what do you think, any suggestions or avoid the phone call altogether?

not on the first few dates, but once you get to know each other better yeah you can although it will seem weird you phoning to check she is alrite after everytime you go out!

Alternatively, you recognise that she's a big girl, and she can look after herself

I'm not going 25km each way (50km total) out of my way to drop off a chick on dates 1-3, thats too chumpy for me.

But upon further consideration of your guys comments (thanks), i believe i would phone only if she is LTR potential after date 3.
