so you try and make plans with a chick and she just says "well ok sounds good call me tommorrow to confirm"

what *****...?

what am i doing right now...?

then she goes on with..

"no i want to i just dont know whats going on tommorrow"

what *****...? going on? its spring break you aint got no job, you aint got shiit going on.

grr i just had to vent.

btw this is a chick i nailed two weeks ago.... maybe i didnt fukc her right???

Yea I get this alot too, they try to make it sound like its a professional and mature thing to do, but what they are really saying is "Let me see if anything better comes up, if something better comes up, I wont have to bother calling you to cancel, I'll just tell you when you call me"

I personally wouldn't put up with that sort of behavior. I used to and all it is, is the woman disrespecting you...she either doesn't want to go, or is waiting to see if something better comes up...from now on if a chick tries to pull that ****, I tell her that my time is too valueable to waste on "maybes", so give me a yes or a no.

I definitely agree that while you were calling her to make a date, there is no other reason to "call and confirm" AGAIN

Thats just her shyat testing you to see how eager you are and if she has got you jumping through hoops to make an effort to call 100x just to make a simple date.

If you arent really all that into her, I would say OK, Ill call and confirm, then next day call and say you cant make it, we'll hang some other time.

whether or not they're able to make it, they should give u a ring and let u know.

it's almost like being stood up for a date, and the person never bothered calling you to tell you he/she wasnt gonna come out

when she said it like that, it means:

i have more important things to do (im more important than you), if nothing comes up, then ill have time for you (you're not really worth it)

if i were u i just wouldnt bother calling her again

The "Call me to confirm" thing is a red flag, and most likely means she doesn't want to go out with you, but she just doesn't have the backbone to let you down in a more straightfoward way like LJBF.

"Call to confirm" (CTC) is pretty standard amongst hot chicks from 18 - 24.

The funny thing is that the chicks do the SAME THING to their friends as well. Initially I thought I was the only one that would get the CTC from chicks, but I noticed that my female flatmates would do that to their female friends.

When I question them on that, they say that they never know how they will FEEL on the day. Sometimes they don't FEEL like shopping with their friends when they say they would go or that they don't FEEL like going out.

Us men are not the same. We really shouldn't impose the way we think on chicks.

Could be any number of things. Some girls will ask you to confirm just so THEY don't get stood up. And some will use it as an excuse to stand YOU up...leaves them a last-minute out.

But there's no need to confirm if the date's a day away. Not in my mind anyway. Tell her if she's not sure she can make it, you'll reset for another day, and you've got something else you can do that day, so she shouldn't worry. (BTW, this IS supposed to worry her. )

I can understand if she needs to "check her schedule" (although half the time, that, too, is a blow-off) well in advance of the date, but if she doesn't know what she's doing TOMORROW, then it probably means she HAS plans, but wants to keep you hanging around in case they fall through. Don't let a girl do that to you.
