I've done the friend zone mind fvck with great success. With online dating especially I have found that many women will refer to the first date as "going as friends". They won't call it a date until they see you and decide they like you. I roll with it. And keep referencing them as a friend throughout the date and turn it on them and make them wonder if I like them. It typically starts with pre date convo and her saying something like "we are just going as friends" or "I'm only looking for friends". I always agree and go with it by saying something like "oh yes of course I'm only looking for friends out of this too". Then once we meet I size her up to see if she seems interested in me. Even if she is I stick with the friend thing. I say stuff like "You seem like a great friend". I remember at least one occasion where I sat there in front of Miss Friend and texted another chick I was banging, then told Miss Friend all about it and asked some stupid advice question. Then I started taking about the other chick pressuring me for commitment. Later in the night Miss Friend and I went to a bar that I knew was a sausage fest. I dropped her at the door and said I was gonna go park and I wanted her to go in sit alone. And then count how many guys were eyeballing her and if any talked to her. I told her I would never do that with a date but since she and I were just friends it would be a fun thing to do. I came in and we talked about one guy who approached her when I was parking the truck. I could tell Miss Friend's hamster was spinning by that point wondering wtf is this guy (Me) up to, he just sent me in a bar alone expecting me to be hit on.. After a few drinks we hit the dance floor. she said "ok. so what ARE you looking for?" I dodged the question and finally said "looking for with what". she said "this. me. us." I said "Just friends of course", right as I kissed her.. We sucked face for a good 10 min.. Less than an hour later I was naked in bed b@nging my 'friend'.

Thanks @logicallefty I ll definitely try that bit of jujitsu. To me right there is what makes SS so great. I tried that tactic hosed several dates and dropped it from my toolbox. In reality with a couple of tweaks it could be useful. But of course without the pain of the dropped ball in the field you'd never remember it
