Making fun of Chris Christie is funny. Making fun of this woman is mean. The irony...

She's fat, clumsy, and obnoxious. It's why she has a career in acting.

Pfft..not just a fatty comment, ANY bad comment towards a female (even if it's the truth!) lately is a crime worthy of castration. Muted in the land of the free, huh?

My friends were watching Beverly Hills Ninja earlier today (seriously, who watches that?), The whole point of the movie was that Chris Farley was Fat and Clueless. That was the entire shtick. This guy called out her shtick and people are mad? I saw the trailer and thought to myself, nope. Not funny. Not paying to see that. Beverly Hills Ninja wasn't funny either.

Some little points . . .

(1) It's a massive put down if you call a man "butt hurt" or a "c0ck svcker." However, we expect women to sexually grovel before men. So it's not a put down to call a woman what she should routinely be.

(2) The immoral characters should be stunningly beautiful, while the guys trying to do right should be ordinary-to-ugly. I saw the TV ad for the movie. She's supposed to be doing wrong. So critic Reed is right to blast her for being fugly.

(3) There's probably some behind-the-scenes politics going on. Reed has nothing to lose, and he's in such a superior position to McCarthy that it's quite odd that he should make [what is considered among liberals to be] such a low blow. I don't think it's a cheap shot to knock an actress for promoting trashiness in personal conduct. But Hollyweird does.

Yes this is it

the fat chick's studio didn't payoff the faggot reporter's paper/bosses through advertising buys so a *bad* review is punishment

next time the same studio releases a movie they will remember to pay the faggot reporter's paper....everything in the entertainment business is calculated and no one leapfrogs ahead without letting their benefactors *wet their beak*

It's a mixture of feminine imperative (don't criticize women) and a side effect of the obesity epidemic. So many women can identify with her weight these days that solipsism kicks in and women at large (pun intended) take it as an attack on themselves, hence the public backlash. If this happened 40 years ago people would likely be supporting him because her morbid obesity would be such an unusual thing and a social outlier. People wouldn't see it as a normalized thing and would still recognize it for the negative thing that it is: MORBID OBESITY!

Exactly...the fit girls laugh and the fat ones are pissed. There are more fat ones these days, therefore the fatty majority is trying to stop the fat-bashing so they can continue raping the Little Debbie boxes.

And crucially STANDARDIZE men to believe that FAT is the *new normal*

As hilarious as that sounds 90% of decent income betas (ie marriage targets for fatties) fall for this *new normal*

read the comments "a women should NEVER be called out for her weight!"

to that I say "fvck you cvntmeat!" you'll be called out for everything until the day you become male property as is your natural role, forced to cook and fvck for your husbands exclusive pleasure

But if the guy that looks like a mean biker, ala ZZ Top, covered in tats all the PTA moms will say they make them uncomfortable. Is he not being ''called out"?? But no one can say anything about their fat bunts trying to explode outta their mom-jeans even when they are being stupid. Unreal. Go feed your bratty fat kids some more frozen crap (after all they got a B in home ec class, they deserve a treat) and continue the cycle.

very true

that is because women believe the landscape of social shaming belongs exclusively to them

it irks fatty women to no end when men use social shaming to call them out on their own faults.

why?

Because women know how effective the poison of shaming is.

men have been slow to realize this but they are catching on...that is why women pull out ALL THE SCREECHES AND HOWLS WHEN MEN EVEN BEGIN TO CALL THEM OUT...while women can call out a noble prize winner for being *creepy* and men barely react.....

I've said it many times, western civilization will know no social peace until men once again cage women as their property in marriage as women have been kept for 2 million years...this concept is something most males don't grasp...until it's too late :)

I make fun of fat chicks all the time. Some women try and "shame" me, but I remind them that fat chicks aren't people anyway. Individually a women will abdicate once you make a statement. Amongst my friends, myself and a few others have a reputation for disliking fat chicks. Oddly enough, we all do OK with women.

One thing that might be worthy of discussion at another time is the distinction between the crowd ( media) and the individual ( women). As an individual, a women will exhibit different behavior than the crowd. For example, women will often try their little "shaming" tests, but as soon as you put them in their place, they abdicate. The crowd is different since men enable much of what we experience. Most of the "shaming" wouldn't even be possible if a man decided not to publish the material.

I say, let women talk. they don't back it up. Shaming is the only little tool they try and use, and often with no success. Just as every women who has tried "shaming" me when I make fun of fat chicks. It doesn't work at all.
