Rewind to about a week ago, it was a normal shopping day at sprouts. I notice an amazing looking brunette. I went right up to her and said "your hair is completely stunning". She looked appreciative and said "thanks!". Then, I went about my business.

This is a first for me, I don't normally do this.

Fast forward to 15 minutes ago. I get out of my car to find her pushing carts. I'm not having the best day, so I try to avoid her. So my pace quickens as I walk to the store. Her pace quickens faster, and then she's right along side of me. I try to speed up, then she almost runs and cuts right in front of me to get into the store giving me an amazing shot of her beautiful hair.

I'm feeling a bit orbited today, pardon me.

Wifehunter pls, this could have been what's called a window of opportunity. Talk to her "oh, are you the girl from the other day blablabla". Easy.
I was speechless, what can I say?

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Wifehunter, you did well to initiate with the hair comment. She rewarded you with proximity the next time you saw her by quickening her pace to orbit you as you put it. She wanted you to open her. You said you had a bad day, so you avoided a second interaction.

Did you fear that her potential rejection would compound your bad day?

I get that, if I'm having a bad day at work, I'll ruminate about a co-worker that got to me and ignore the world around me. I'll usually have to do 30 mins of cardio to get it out of my system.

Next time you have the opportunity to escalate, take a minute to collect yourself. Put on your DJ face and chat her up. What's the DJ motto? "Rejection is better than regret."

My bad day comes from my financial condition or lack thereof. Being homeless and living in my car, has a lot to do with it. I'm also in reframe mode. So passive interaction in passing, is all I've got.

Thanks, its cool, I'm not serious about escalation. I haven't even so much as kissed a lady since around 2000. I'm "hands off" till I find the right one. I would rather not be physically bonded to a wh0re/slvt (most of them are). I also need to make time for any red flags to appear. A classy lady is what I'm after. It takes time, lots of time!

You have to be careful opening with a compliment.

I tried a similar approach the other day though.

I stopped a waitress and said "I like your hair. Is it real? You don't have extensions? Is that your natural color? You've never dyed it?" and she saw it as my qualifying her (she said "You're looking for signs of me being fake!", which is a better approach than complimenting her). When you can spot girls with their natural hair color you get double bonus points.

I know this isn't your point, but is there a girl alive who has never dyed her hair?

On a related note, what percentage of women out there at any given time do you suppose are sporting their completely natural hair color (no frosting, lightening, nothing)? By the way, I would bet that most of those natural girls are brunette.

I would focus on your own red flags before looking for them in others. Dude do what you need to asap to get a home and job asap...
