The average woman has a cleverly crafted online illusion of a glorious life that would make even the most successful of her girlfriends jealous. The key word is illusion, and anything that interferes with the false image she has created needs to be mitigated to the best of her ability as soon as possible.ronniel said:Now she calls me insecure via her facebook status. She's doing damage control
Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

somehow i get the feeling that blocking her fb might be the breaking point, where she really ends up going off the rails, resulting in more slanderous comments to your mutual friends. i hope i'm wrong. but these days, for fb validation hors, being blocked on fb is equivalent to being cast out to a leper colony as was custom 1000 years agoronniel said:ok, blocked her on facebook. you're right. i don't need this
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.
