Anyone that has ever been on a wrestling team will attest to the fact that people who regularly do a back bridge, rararly have back problems. At first people think it can harm your neck, but it strengthens it.

Anyone that has ever been on a wrestling team will know what a back bridge is.

Its basicly lying down, put your palms at shoulder level, Then you pushup, when you get you forehead to the mat, you let go of your hands. May seem daunting, but Try 1 minute first, then 3.

Me Im at 17 minutes bridging. Great

I used to do it because my back was so sore that i felt like it was a good way to crack it. I havent heard anybody say its good for you. But i guess it is now.

I'm pretty sure I know what bridging is. There is a yoga posture that is very similar to how you describe the exercise, and that yoga posture has become my first line of defense whenever my back feels stiff or sore. I use it as a stretch after deads.

Yeah I was on a High School wrestling team too for 4 years. Bridging helps me not have a bad back like my father.

Some claim that movements like that are harmful, like gymnastics causes back problems. I have yet to see evidence of it. The Bridge is a great test of agility and flexibility. Other back moves to try are handstands, crabs, and breakdancing stalls. If you get good in the bridge, you can walk with your hands and feet. FREAKY.
