I think I am pretty sure what the answer to this is, but for a lack of assertiveness at this point and being in a weaker position I could use your thoughts on this.

I went NC with a girl I dated about 4 months ago. The reason for this is because she was being an attention wh*re, trying to get me jealous, tried disrespecting me infront of others and was generally expecting me to chase her too much.

Outside this, she has her good qualities and I have had good memories with her. What I mentioned above all happened within the course of a week, which was inconsistent with her previous behavior. I chose to go NC regardless, because I don't accept disrespect from anyone. In any way, I still hold my dignity in all this right now, since I was the one that walked away.

What do you guys think? Try to hit her up again and see how things go this time, or permanently delete her number and cut off contact forever?

And as an additional note, I am not spinning any other plates right now due to work/studies taking over and not having met anyone interesting recently.

Her behavior changed because her interest is low. I'd maintain NC and move on to greener pastures.

Even more reason to move on. It requires a ton of discipline/practice to behave as though you have options when you don't. Go out and actually obtain real options.

Walking away is the only real power you have, don't throw it all away for one, disrespectful chick. Plenty more out there that won't treat you this way.

The difference between NC and going ghost is that NC means you will do your best to ignore her and avoid her, while going ghost on the other hand means that you only RESPOND to her; in other words, SHE needs to reach out to you and you simply respond back.
How strong you wanna go ghost for is up to you to decide for though. What i mean by how strong is like this: only responding to her if she comes up to you face to face would be stronger than replying to her face to face AND calls/texts too. You can also change how strong it is by how vague and how short you want the convos to be. Making encounters more or less serious by body language (arms crossed and frowning or smiling confidently and open arms for example) can also help too.

Basically, I would recommend that you go ghost. Not necessarily NC, but if she tried to reach out to you, respond back and be more open. But don't take bullsh!t either.

Good luck.

My opinion~ Use your power to walk away...that's the only way you'll know wether your truly powerful or just faking it(self development as opposed to blind risk)

Don't contact her, you will most likely be disappointed.

Maybe because he has a pen1s? Do you?

I appreciate this Buddha mindset some guys are pursuing here, but it won't work in real life.

I wouldn't break NC...but if she reaches out, like ITDG says, respond but in a detached manner. Feel her out a bit. Does she want to reconnect or is she looking for attention? Let her do all the work. But engaging in any meaningful conversation would be no bueno.

Personal observation, others may feel free to disagree

It is better if you cry, call her hundreds of times. After some time (and growth in personal awareness), you will finally get over your obsession. Deliberate NC seems to unnecessarily increase your ex's importance, instead of reducing it.
