I guess even Brazil is controlled by feminazis. So much for the idea that guys can leave the US and avoid them.

Brazil's Ministry for Women called Wednesday for the suspension of a television ad featuring lingerie-clad supermodel Gisele Bundchen, saying it reinforces the stereotype of women as sex objects.

The agency said in a statement it was asking the state council on advertising to halt the use of the ad with Bundchen, the Brazilian native who is believed to be the world's highest paid model.

The ad "reinforces an erroneous stereotype of women as sex objects and ignores the progress made in ending sexist practices. It also represents discrimination against women," the ministry said in a statement.

In the ads for the Brazilian intimate wear brand "Hope," Bundchen is clad in panties, a bra and high heels, in an effort to distract her husband when she delivers bad news -- about damaging the car, exceeding her credit limit, and her mother coming to live with them.

The TV ads send a message "that sensuality can melt any man" and "encourages Brazilian women to use their charms... to minimize the reactions of their husbands," the ministry said.

The ministry managed to ban a beer ad in 2010 featuring US model Paris Hilton in suggestive poses.
Doesn't that sound familar or even more extreme than what you hear from them in the US?

They're only sex objects when it's convenient for them to be sex objects.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

I was a little surprised to read Brazil has a Ministry for Women and they are so bold and empowered to call for a modest ad like this to be banned. And they use the same BS lines like "sex object, sexist, empowerment and discrimination" you'd hear in the US. I was under the impression that Brazil kept women in the proper palce.

I'm sure if this supermodel was advertising the lingeree but instead acted like a stuck up b!tch to a doting man, then that would be A-OK by these feminist nutsos.

Do realize that there are two types of women in Brazil:

1. Rich white women who try to own everything. You never get to see those women as they are hopping from building to building in helicopters to avoid the poor people (Brazil is home to the worlds largest helicopter fleet)

2. Poor women of all other races that you see on TV partying at the beach.

Brazil is not what you think it is-- it is the only country that still operates under the feudal system, meaning: the lords of the land own everything everywhere and all other poor people are in debt till they die...poor.
