What about Pavlik - Taylor Clooney?
I have to disagree on your 2 predictions.
Hatton will hand Mayweather his toughest fight and first loss. He is an in your face type fighter that will be all over Mayweather from the opening bell. The man who gave Mayweather the biggest problems was Jose Luis Castillo and Hatton fights just like this if not even more robust!
I love Sugar Shane and this is such a tough fight to call but I think I will have to go with youth. Cotto is younger and relentless and just throws bombs.... I will give Cotto the edge as I believe he is the next superstar in boxing.
I'll go with Calzaghe too although this too is a tough one to call. Kessler has youth.
This is definitely going to be a great year for boxing... I can't remember the last time there were so many good fights coming up!
Dont really care about the other fights, except the 3 I named.
Hatton has a chance, IF the ref lets him hold a LOT! (Hatton does not fight like Castillo, he is a lot rougher, a lot more holding, a lot more dirty). If the ref keeps it clean, Mayweather will dance all night and pot shot him, to a comfortable decision. Hattons best chance, is attacking the body all night, cause this is about the only place you can land on Floyd clean. Hatton really needs to be on top of his game, and be relentless if he is to beat Mayweather. If that lethargic, weak looking 147lber turns up who last fought at 147, he is in for one bruising night at the office!
Mosley throws the PERFECT punch, MADE for Cotto! His overhand right will hit Cotto much more than expected, and this time, Cotto will not be the bigger, stronger man in the ring! I beleive Mosley will be slightly bigger, slightly stronger, has some great stanima of his own, will be able to take the Cotto power. I see this as a war, with Mosley either stopping him in the middle rounds, or outpointing him (with Cotto SERIOUSLY hurt during the fight being the difference).
Kessler is a great fighter, a very underrated boxer (as far as technical ability), due to his punching power. He will give Joe trouble, but Joe has the combination and flurry speed, and this alone will get him past Kessler, in a very close fight. Joe will get the better of Kessler in exchanges on the inside.
