Gents:

anyone have a female boss? I did at my last job and it was very emasculating. Though she did have a great behind. I'd love to get chewed out just so I could watch her wobble away.

I found a new job with a male boss. And his boss was male until a recent change in structure. Now my bosses boss is a woman which basically means that my boss is a woman. She's a cold cold heart and nowhere as easy on the eyes as my old female boss was. And of course, she's impossible to please.

Anyone else have a female boss and do you find it emasculating? How do you handle it?

Executives have bosses too. If they're not making things happen, it doesn't matter if they are men or women.

Just seems easier and more natural to take orders from a man. My issue, maybe. But there you go. Women themselves have told me they d rather have a male boss. Less bs

I've had several female bosses and never had any trouble with any of them. I'm not saying they necessarily made the best decisions. Nearly all bosses are fairly hit and miss with their judgements. But the only ones that ever actually tried to fvck me over were male.

My boss right now is a big tall black very gay guy. He is a really cool guy and boss. The person who runs my company is a woman. She is the boss of the bosses. She is not so cool, but I don't have to deal with her anymore. I used to go out for lunches with her and employees and she always busted my balls. Man hating feminist. When I married my wife she said "What's wrong you don't like American women?" I lied and said "ofcourse I do I love them, I just connected with this woman."

In my experience, businesses always fail when a woman is in command. The last 3 schools I was at had women as managers, all closed down due to excessive spending and spending on frivolous bs. They would take 2 hours for lunch, leave work early or just not show up. They were all promoted simply because they are women. How can you run a business when you have to pander to the employees and at the same time you are a dominant b1tch with your husband... the only men who will follow a woman like that are spineless "yes" men, fortunately for women, there are tons of those around. Women bosses start up office politics, they spy on their employees, give out passive aggressive comments... That's why men generally despise managers and bosses who ACT like women.

I'll cite the recent OUYA as a good example. CEO is a woman..... in charge of a gaming system for men.... good idea, poorly executed and a total failure. Millions of dollars gone to waste.

You are correct sir. My company just got bought out about 8 months ago by a huge corporation because it was about to go under.

I actually prefer working for female bosses. If the boss is a man, I'm not sure what it is, but my natural instinct is to challenge authority.

If it's a woman, I tend to let their *****yness slide, and over a short time I usually win them over.

It's easier for me to keep a female boss under control than a male boss.

I've had three of them. The first was a big fat bearded she beast who sexually harrassed me and fired me for not giving it up. The second was a hot chic who was banging the boss. Didn't know jack and managed with her emotions and shrillness. The last was highly competent and professional who let us do our work and focused on the bottom line, she was not attractive, older, married. She's one of the best bosses I've ever had. She had to work her butt off to get where she was and she earned our respect by how well she did her job and how fair she was as a boss. Always had our backs and stood up for us. Probably not a popular thing to say around here, but I look back on working with her as fondly as I do a few other male bosses I've had.

No matter how "tough" they seem to be, they are delicate little girls inside just barely holding it together. I don't like having to walk on eggshells around these bishes. I had one , and the way to keep your self respect is to be professional, and whenever she did some thing unprofessional just dont do it and let her know that so she will not mess with you again .
for example if she try to talk with you while she is sitting and you standing, ask her to have another chair next time, and tell her this situation is in appropriate .
if she order you some thing that is not in the work best interest ask her why she want you to do that thing . most mid level manager women cant really fight with the wrong argument too far, unless they really have authority to fire you which few of them really have .

No, they got there due to men's fear and shame.

You never worked for a ho boss? I worked for one and it was known she was banging her way to the top. It's not unusual.

I've had many and they run the gamut, much like men. My current boss is a 49 y.o. female and she is very fair. Sarcastic as all hell, but basically as long as I produce and do my job she is fine. She's a bottom-line boss.

I think, generally speaking, that women do not make competent leaders. They aren't wired for it. They repeatedly make poor decisions, let personal feelings get involved, and blur lines between work and personal life.

Are there fair and competent female bosses? Sure. But it depends a lot on the work setting and AGE of the female. Married, middle-aged women seem to be the most stable. Younger women are full of themselves.

I agree with you there that a female CEO can never understand the hardcore gamers' mind-- most of whom are males. So it was poor decision making on the part of OUYA.

But then again, the OUYA was destined to fail no matter what. Anything that is associated with the Indie culture generally fails whether it be music, movies, or games. This is because the indie culture in and of itself is too diverse to make a market of.
