Well today is the first day of summer, so even though I'm not a hairy person (a lot of my hair is blonde so it's not that visible), I shaved with a buzz clipper - my whole body. Ow. Now that I've been working out for 6 months I wanted to remove that remnant of the old me, hair that grew from me before I got in shape.

I generally only shave once a year (never waxing).

What do you guys do for hair grooming?

Younger girls seem to want no hair.

Don't forget to exfoliate as you will get bumps if you don't.
I think blond men are better hairy, but its all personal taste isn't it.

I have a very hairy face and torso. I clipper to about a number 1 or 0.5 or 0 once a month; face once or twice a week. Need to veet my shoulders about once a fortnight as well :D

I find it quite unsightly when it's unmanaged, even on other guys now. Like a bit hippified. and automatically expect body odour.

I am less sweaty in the heat now and I think the maintained look/feel is a happy medium for the ladies' tastes.

Thinking about getting a mohawk next time I go to the barbers for a more rough, less preppy look than my standard short back and sides.

I have a very hairy chest and I feel naked mentally when it comes off. The few women I have fuked actually loved caressing my long chest hair but I dont know any other guy who has those same experiences. I am also more on the skinny side so my chest appears a little bit bigger with hair, perhaps thats why. Looks more manly.

Perhaps I will take it off as well, it grows quickly enough

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Some women like body hair, some don't. I've heard from both sides of the fence. I've also had them complain that when you shave chest hair short it isn't as smooth against their bodies as leaving it long.

I like the fact that it shows off my muscle definition better when my chest hair is short.

That's only if you have sex a few days after shaving and they feel it. If you shave your beard, it's super smooth. Wait a few days, you can grind against metal and create sparks. Wait a little longer and it softens up a bit. It's just the stubble that's super prickly that they don't like. Agreed that less hair = more muscle definition.

Yes, using a Loofah (dried sea sponge) and doing dry skin brushing is great. You make small circles and work your way from your extremeties up (From hands to shoulders, from feet to hips) as this is the direction skin grows (it overlaps in one direction). By buffing off dead cells you encourage new skin cell growth. The only difference between old people and young people is that young people regenerate cells faster. Skin brushing provides a youthful glow.

Body hair on a man is a physical sign of his masculinity. That's why women who don't buy into the idea that we are commodities and go for real people, find male body hair sexy.
Its not really anything to do with size because the strongest man I ever knew was thin. He had normal man muscles but was incredibly strong.
Body hair is a unspoken attraction, like strong hands, prominent Adam's apple, jowls, deep voice, aggression, man smell and so on. I am not saying that men with shaven bodies or men who have groomed themselves are not sexy. I am just trying to say that fundamentally women are attracted to what makes a man a male because sex for women isn't just about the act of sex. It also includes the 9 months up to childbirth. Women are programmed to look for a partner who can protect her as well as make her pregnant. Pretty men are not high on her list of priorities.

I agree, but in your 40's once you get all bushy, with a few grays coming in, you look better shaving and then letting it grow back in. Then it gets too bushy again and I repeat.

These are the most important areas to shave regularly. Unless you are excessively hairy and have to shave your shoulders and elbows and shít.

I have no body hair, but at 53 have a full head of hair. I have been accused of waxing by women at times. I have dated women with more hair than me.

I have extremely hairy forearms... ha ha

My concern is that if I use the clippers [No 2 or 3?] the hair will grow more... less soft?

That's a wives tale. Shaving your hair doesn't not make it grow more, thicker or faster. Shave your forearms if they are too hairy. Repeat regularly.

Just did it. I don't know why I haven't done this earlier to be honest [No 2]. I live in Korea, where they do not like body hair.

It's shaving the very first time that makes a difference. My ex-wife grew up in the UK. Shaving legs from only the knee down was common for European girls. She had never shaved above her knees, but the hair was so fine that it was barely visible.

I'm 50 and my chest is hairy as Sean Connery's. Most women I've been with loved it. Two were extremely turned on by it and told me so. I never got a negative reaction.

I think younger girls today might feel different though.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.
