Finally found a good opening to talk to the girl. Had a good convo going, obvious interest from her. This dude then walks up, puts his arm around her, says some bs and then he completely ignores me. ****blocked so hard, I just was stunned for a second then walked off.
What would you do in this situation? I probably would have said like "ohh I didn't know you guys were dating" (they weren't, would have made him look bad). But I couldn't think fast enough. :|

More importantly, how can I not get stunned?

I vote for Espi's advice.
Punching someone has nothing to do with being alpha, rather the opposite.
Just say something like "See you later girls" and walk away.

Sounds like a pretty awful situation. I suggest forgiving yourself for these sorts of scenarios. Stop dwelling on them, and say instead, "it's only high school!" and then go work on one of your skills, and develop yourself in other ways.
