blind date, meet for a drink, what if she asks to see a movie?

hey guys, i'm new

so i met her on a dating website. firstly, she did suggest drink+movie and i said lets just grab a drink and talk a bit, get to know each other. but what happens if in the middle of it all she suggests to go see that movie. this is my first date with her so i know movies arent the best thing for a first date. what if we are really getting along an hour into it and she wants to see a movie, maybe i could plant some moves while we are watching seeing as we already spent an hour getting to know each other. or i should just tell her leave it for the second date?

Man same **** happening to me right now. She wants to see a movie. Im like, the **** am I really that boring? I do love cinema, but it seems kind of lame to suggest going to a movie. this is a first date though... you think that's still okay within an hour of the date? i mean, she DID suggest it. but i don't know.. everyone says its the worst idea on a first date.

Her: Twilight, Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, etc

You: Not really feeling those...hey there's a Redbox over there, let's pick something out, I have surround-sound at my place

Take control. Tell her you want to do something other than see a movie. You can't get to know her during a movie.

If you do however wind up going a movie, take the bottom out of your popcorn cup and give her a surprise.

i used to live near the best place for dates its like a giant outside mall with musicians and crap every where plus a giant movie theater for after you get to know them well enough , but honestly every time i took a girl to the movies , it was like paying to get blue balls , and there is a thing as to much making out to , because once u start , u cant stop , i made out with this girl so much that i litteraly could not tell my spit from hers , was pretty nasty at that point lol

well an hour is plenty of time to get comfortable with each other. i figured going to see a movie after a long chit chat i could put the moves on her while the flirting and spark feelings are still in her. the shopping center will be closing in an hour and a half after meeting. either i could go see a movie after an hour or just call it a night and kiss her in the car? i never invite girls to my house the first date. even i dont feel comfortable with that. UNLESS we hit it off really REALLY good.
