Birthday Present for LTR

ive been with my girlfriend for 8 months now and her birthday is this saturday. now, i know shes throwing a birthday party so i think taking her out to dinner wouldnt work (she would if i asked but i dont want to intrude).

i thought about getting her those hub caps that keep on spinning after your car stops but the store is all sold out now. (she likes her beater car alot and pimps it out)

then i thought maybe a ring but i havent really given her presents before and this would seem akward then.

so what should i give her? i want something original and something that will help raise her sexual interest in me even more and create some passionate LTR bond between us.

If you're in a LTR, you're gift better show that you know something about her! Pay attention to what she's interested in and go along the lines of that. You shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Also, forget the ring unless you're proposing. If you want to do something special, make it original. I posted a tip a while back on using romance in your relationship. It's called "Bungo Pony's Superguide on Romance". Do a search on it in the tips section.

The best thing is to use your own creative elements to make something for her. The jesture will speak "I care about you" more than words ever could.

well, i know shes really into science (like biology) and shes into her car a little (she took an auto mechanic class she liked alot)

shes not into sports or activities too much. so i dunno.... gimme some more help please

I am in the same boat as you Nan3109. My g/f of a year is having a birthday in 2 weeks and I dont have a clue what to get.

Does she like movies , like a DVD? How about make her something? Can you take her somewhere like the day after her B-day?

Totally agree.. getting her the spinning rim's aren't that good of an idea. Show her how much you love and care about her.

This is the funniest thing I have read on here yet. And a women that is into cars and knows how to fix, them! I'd say you have a keeper.

I agree, better show that you have been paying attention the last 8 months. I say no rings. The only time a women should get a ring is when you are prepared to bend down on one knee. I also say that whatever it is, it should be a little romantic. We like that **** and well, will help get her in the mood later on.

Depends on how much you want to spend but perhaps, you and she could go on a little weekend getway? No more than two days if possible. And Maybe somewhere with nature tours and crap. Not sure what part of the country you live but that might be nice.

And if all else fails, get her those rims!

my b-day is in december and we started going out in january so we didnt know each other until about a week after my b-day.

i know, it sucks to be me!

i think that car stereo is a good idea because i actually have 5 in my trunk! my friend steals them (bad) and he'll let me give her one i think.

Oh man, you've got some f**cked up friends... I wouldn't say it's that great of an idea to give her a stolen car stereo though, especially if she knows this friend of yours steals them... as it might seem like you didn't put a lot of thought into the gift.

OK HERE'S THE DEAL, MY GIRLFRIEND IS REALLY NERVOUS WHEN I TELL HER I GOT HER A GIFT, WHY IS THAT? THAT IS WHY I THINK I DONT WANT TO GET HER JEWLERY OR FLOWERS OR THINGS OF GREAT DEEPNESS.SHE TOLD ME ONCE THAT SHE IS SCARED TO PUT HER EMOTIONS INTO A RELATIONSHIP OUT OF FEAR THAT SHE MAY BE HURT.
