I think think this is more of a problem for women than men. I hear of some women won't date within their social circles, because Chad has banged 3 of women in said group...if you know what I mean.
Chad doesn't give a crap, but a woman of decency will likely avoid Chad knowing this information, right?
That said, I think this is where she goes to online dating sites so that way you stay out of social circles?
It's kind of a shame though because before the Internet, this is how people actually go to together, right? I'm sure it was less of a hook-up culture in the old days because the appeal of not wanting to be "that guy", kept people in check and was more than likely to stick to the relationship rather than sleep with all the women of the group?
Usually I think "Don't piss where you eat" is something that only applies to the work place, but I think it's a cop-out to have casual sex.
Meaning if you're a person that loves casual sex, you should bang strangers and not people you're familiar with, right?
But I'm not "that guy" so, I'd actually more PREFER to date someone in my social circles because...I become familiar with them over time and there's a certain comfort level there.
Funny, people probably think it's a good idea when things are going good, but not a good idea if things go bad...but..that's in hindsight.
BUT....people have typically had met, dated, even got married through groups of friends, right?
