Just signed up today after reading The Rationale Male about a month ago (twice). Currently reading Preventive Medicine.
My shift from beta to alpha has been...uncomfortable. I'm saying things I never would have considered saying and acting in ways I never would have considered before reading The Rationale Male. I should add a note of clarification here: I'm acting in ways I never would have consciously considered.
All along during my beta lifestyle, I've never felt "right" or "good" about myself. Like I was giving up part of my life force energy or power whenever I acted so beta. "The way to a woman's heart is by treating her with extreme niceness and gentleness." I honestly believed that, even after it didn't work for the 1000th time! ****.
After reading TRM, my whole life came into focus. No ****ing wonder I've been a woman repellent. But, I was conditioned from the beginning to be beta. This change I'm making seems big, and it's as if I'm required to stretch myself on a daily, moment to moment basis.
Being a newb here, would love to hear some of your beta to alpha stories/anecdotes, especially pertaining to your shift in the way you relate to women.
